Which faction has the longest PvP Queue times? Which class combinations are currently the most powerful in PvP? What are the most promising PvP NA servers currently? I was thinking of starting a mage up with the Necromancer soul but I have heard iffy things about mages currently. I'll probably still go through with it but I wouldn't mind knowing the dominating souls in the game atm. <3 | ||

In response to Redluck: I can't answer two of your questions, however my longest PvP queue time was ~4 minutes. Now that Trion has implemented the whole "report afk" thing, pvp's pretty fun again. | ||

I'm also talking fights, not random gankings. When a boss shoots from a rift, there's some serious warfare for the chance to kill it. I play a Defiant and have been winning more games than I've lost to this point, but I believe the two factions to be fairly equal. As for classes, play what makes you happy. Classes will be buffed and nerfed continuously. People are crying about rogues being UP right now but I play one and do just fine. If you play what you enjoy, it'll keep you away from alting constantly for the next FOTM. Just get good with your class and you have nothing to worry about. Pyromancer is the current ZOMGOP spec that everyone complains about. Also something to note, hybridization between classes seems to be very viable right now. The truth is, the game is new, few people have things figured out, and people love the motto (when I win it's due to skill, when I lose it's because the other guy is OP and needs to be nerfed). Overall, it's an awesome game and I'd definitely recommend it. This is coming from a guy that hasn't played a MMO in a very long time. | ||

The game has playstyles for almost any kind of player, and being able to swap around ebtween those is what really draws me to it. I'll go on and PvP for a few hours, or do a dungeon run, or progress along some epic quest-line with actual story behind it. Definitely suggest anyone who is interested to at least try it out. | ||

I'd think you'd have a blast just because of the infancy of the game. The soul combination is the best part of the game. As for playtime, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Questing, Rifting, Dungeons, and Warfronts help break up the monotony of leveling. The only thing I recommend is that if you're going into this game alone, research your shard (server) carefully. Trion is hiding numbers and I personally don't trust their "low/medium/high" system. I'm on a medium server, but it definitely feels "low" to me. Especially compared to high during head start. | ||

thinking of trying it but seems a lot of posters saying they've stopped playing after about 1-2month when it got boring, maybe just a vocal minority? if its not good then I won't buy itthoughts? | ||
