I've spent a good deal of time playing GW (500+ hours now that I've checked) but I never dabbled too much with PvP. I had some friends that did that tried to explain to me some of the complexities of what was going on, but I was wondering if there were some of you out there that could help me get up to speed and/or get some of those PvP titles, since at this point PvP seems a little illusive to me. If this is possible let me know, or if this is something that you guys do after someone gets accepted to this new guild.

You should do it ![]() Although I'm a newb, I'm planning on trying to get a lot for my HoM. I'm sure this has been posted many times before, but just a reminder on why you should do it. http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/

If you have money / have played for a bit you can get a lot of points really easy. There are also lots of cheap and easy ways to get points, but maxing out can take a lot. On GW2: I hope to god Sylvari are not just generic elves!

I've been over to the Team Legacy site (which looks fantastic, btw; I know its still shaky but that was a huge step in the right direction!) and I noticed you guys have some kind of initiative to work together to finish up HoM stuff. On-Topic Sadly, most people nowadays buy zaishen keys off the internet to make their PvP trophy. Mainly because of how long it takes to get that particular one. Make note that our GW1 guild has plenty of members in it that can guide you to a route that doesnt involve grinding endless hours or paying more money. Its your choice.

Personally I would rather not pay money (isn't that the point of no monthly fees) and just play the game that I enjoy. I dont expect things handed to me, but I saw this as a way to perhaps get involved with a community that is already doing these kinds of things to avoid the "doing it alone" feeling. If people are doing it, I'd love to get involved; feel free to pm me here on TL and we can exchange ign information.

At the very least, we can get you a very good start on your mini-pets and title tracks, in an efficient manner.

You just reminded me that i have to check my 11 characters for presents again :-/ A few month ago i had 3 chest pages full of mini-pets, i'll have to start throwing stuff away to make room for more or give some away. Anyone here wants some free mini-pets? (can't check which ones atm, mostly worthless ones, but maybe someone is a collector) Shoot me a PM if you want any, i can get online in an hour or so. PS: Isn't it great that in GW you don't have to care about which server you play on? :p UPDATE: I give away for free (in no specific order): 2 Heket Warrior 2 Roaring Ether 2 Irukandji 1 Elf 1 Juggernaut 2 Hydra 1 Harpy Ranger 1 Quetzal Sly 1 Terrorweb Dryder 1 Word of Madness 1 Necrid Horseman 1 Pig 2 Fungal Wallow 1 Temple Guardian 1 Aatxe 3 Palawa Joko 2 Jungle Troll 1 Ooze 1 Whiptail Devourer 2 Kirin 1 Wind Rider 2 Freezie 1 Shiro 1 Kvedulf 2 Jade Armor 1 Mursaat 1 Siege Devourer 1 Summit Giant Herder 1 Ophil Nahualli Phew, quite a list... and i gathered all of those without ever buying or trading one ![]() On July 27 2011 23:35 Yoddy wrote: Does sb creates a TL guild on the EU-Servers? Most of our EU players play on US servers anyway, and others don't care so long as the pings are reasonable. Facts. We have 27 EU players, and 3 AU players that have joined to play alongside the US players, with many more expected. All of those players play SC2/GW1 on USeast servers without any latency issues at all. I find the mix of the many cultures fascinating while on Teamspeak playing games. You really have no perspective in the world until you talk and play with guild mates from other parts of the world. If your set on exclusively playing on a EU server, im sure there will be an EU guild formed specifically to play there closer to release. They wont necessarily be as organized as us, but it should suit your needs fine.

Thanks and great work! This has been my goto thread for updates (even over the actual GW site) for awhile now. Really just smooth and easy to see whats going on currently with the game. Im not sure about money/time when this game releases so Im hesitant to look into your guild at this time as I hate to waste a spot if I won't be immediately playing the game much. Alot depends on the release date. Cheers for all the effort!
