It's not massive difference. You wont even notice to be honest I can't tell who has great gear and who doesn't since you rarely get into 1v1. I just have fun in there. In my opinion the only thing I think makes a huge difference in WvWvW is the 6th slot Elite skill. Earlier levels you don't have access to all of them and it makes a difference.
The funniest thing about WvW so far is when I cast a stun on some guy who didn't pay attention to the enemy lines and all his team has retreated then you just watch everybody just roll the guy lol. Its crazy how everyone quickly recognizes the guy that is Chilled,Crippled, or Stunned lmao.
Meh it doesn't really intrigue me that much anyway. Huge zerg vs. zerg battles don't really interest me. To be honest I 100% wouldn't have bought the game if it didn't have the sPvP system.
Is anybody thinking it may be a good idea to invest your gold into gems? Perhaps gaining a large return once there is a larger influx of gold into the market?

not sure of what to do,
There's a cost associated with the exchange. I've logged a few days of exchange rates, and it hasn't gotten to the profitable region. There are far more reliable trades in the regular trading post.
Currently 93% map complete...WvW and Cursed Shore left...oh this will not be fun ;_;
My server has always been the top server in the match making so far...but this time...we're getting obliterated. No chance of doing this until new matchings.
Jormag is just a fun world fight, it really is a kick to the past to have a boss with that kind of complexity out in the world and it's pretty fun to do. Got him down but sadly I got 5 greatswords but the event itself was just intense as one would expect a dragon fight to be.
Engineer damage is interesting not sure if I am really into it but I am liking having the mobility and condition damage however I think at some point I may try a pure rifle build just to actually hit hard all at once rather then over time.

That was just the claw of Jormag. I'm thinking the actual Jormag fight will be brought in later and hopefully much more involved than the Zhaitan fight.

Pretty sure that's intentional, you watch the half second animations or you die.

In all honestly I was a little disappointed with the Zhaitan fight.
Contents for level 60-80 in general feels a bit unpolished compared to how good the rest of the story is.
Couldn't get mine to work when I tried yesterday, used WMP playlists and MP3, couple times I managed to turn off the default music on MainMenu and replace it with some weird beeping sound but thats about it.
What was your fix to get it work if you don't mind sharing.

Rifle damage is a very different monster and turns the Engineer into a mid range character. The sustained damage feels superior to pistols once you have good gear and you can get off some crazy burst if you get in close enough. I've been messing with Rifle/Grenade builds in PvP and PvE recently and they're amazing fun. A great alternative if you're not taking hits.
I'm just a hair away from level 70 now. Planning to catch up on my story (current mission is a level 62) then go find some damn raspberries, platinum & hard wood.
I put my money into gem exchange after being told to by a friend, so living as a pauper for a while.
Oh hey, here's a mini flicky-style Powernade/Rifle build for PvP - Now you too can burst! (It also owns thieves):
Sigil of Air Runes of Divinity Berserks Amulet + Gem.
Playstyle - Auto-attack from miles away and use Analyse. Use Grenade Toolkit skill if they get close and Rifle to Blunderbuss and escape after. Throw grenades while running or med kit to heal and run. When safe use rifle. If you get caught, use Elixir S and Med Kit. Use Supply crate in an emergency. If you're felling cocky, use Toss Elixir S and try to Jump Shot them. If not, save Toss Elixir S to guarantee stomps for you or allies.
If you're not being attacked, feel free to throw Grenades or use Rifle shots. I like grenades if the group is big for the control.
If you didn't know how to use Med Kit or survive in hairy situations as Engineer, you will after playing this.
If anyone stealths or anything like that, you can still kill them with Grenades and AoE rifle attacks.
Just remember that you are super squishy and that grenades don't always like being thrown down hills.

Is the only way to manually join a server together and pray we can get into the same team? That seems so bad...
Yep and when you're in you have to try and be on the same team every game.
If you are in a party the game puts you and your friend(s) in the same team after the first map, that's my experience after 10 consecutive rounds of same team with party members.
Also, great engineer tips, I've been having mad fun since yesterday in sPvP. My first toon is an engineer.

no, it doesn't, coming off from someone who was in every beta even with my friends and got rank 17 atm. It's just random. You have to try manually join the game your friend is in and then manually join the same team.

Well, I've been in the same game with my friend for over 10 games last night, and 5+ this morning, so theres 2^15 chance that its random.
