I was so hyped for RO2... AND NOW I AM AGAIN!!!

Funny thing, I just started playing a private RO server after not playing for about 2 years, and now this news. Wonderful! Ragnarok will always hold a very special place in my heart.

I'm just hoping its still 2D but 3D...

lol...my childhood relived. i loved when summoners mass summoned in cities for drops and i mass EFed with free healing leveling up faster than god knows what...hit 99 in a week on 3x. good times. I hope RO2 keeps to the roots, that's what made it great imo

I hope they kept/improved WoE, that was the most fun I've had PvP wise in an MMO.

The art is looking fantastic. So much better than the first round of beta. Fingers crossed it's as good or better than the original

I still go back and play RO when I just want to see whats going on. If americans can play on the korean servers I am in. till then I will have to wait till RO2 comes out like IRO

Cool thing is, in one of the articles, it says you can play as in WoW or choose the original Ragnarok Online style of view :D

Hmm I'm interested to see how that works out, but to be fair I do like the switch towards 3D but I imagine others would love the old school style.

for some odd reason the alpha version of prontera makes me nostalgia but not the beta and afterwards version... the stuff that really does is the prontera field music

Honestly, If they made RO2 an exact copy of how RO was in beta.. only 3D, i would have so much fun. And I mean keeping the maps the exact same, I would know where everything was. Would nastalgia even more

NO 2k people sieging a single damn castle in WoE = dealbreaker for me. WE LOVED/HATED EVERY MINUTE of trying to do that. WoE music > Loading Screen Muzak > Prontera music

(has anyone here EVER experienced trying to go through 4 rooms; each blanketed by a single alliance of 4 guilds fully upgraded, with ALL members online? *think approximately 800 defenders for ONE CASTLE alone*)

If you know what I'm talking about, then you've played one of the craziest ROs ever (despite it being a duping paradise)
