* WotLK Deathknights at release - Never in my 20 years of gaming have i encountered such overpowered bullshit. My best example is me and a mage dropping a DK's two teammates while they drop our priest in arenas, we then have to kite him for 5minutes to get all our CD's back, and to heal up fully before engaging him. In this engagement he kills the mage and gets me to 50% hp. Unkillable, insane damage, immune to freaking everything with several 1min CD's. And this went on for MONTHS before they got nerfed. And after the nerf the ranged frostspamming build was invented, another season of DKs instacasting harder then mages for no cost at all. WC3 vanilla: Shamans + Witchdoctors. Oh lord was this an easy army composition, get masses of them, spam stunwards all over and have sick aoe healing with damage and bloodlust. | ||

Not only can it blow up entire enemy planets, but also spawned with its own fleet of Imperial Stardestroyers, Assault Frigates, and Patrol Cruisers. You didn't need a support fleet because it had its OWN fleet. Only thing that rivaled it was snowspeeders during land battles. Build 50 squads, land 10 squadrons on everyplanet, watch them decimate everything. | ||

the most imbaness in a pc game i can remeber was in command and conquer 2 just the standard doubble gunned soviet tank which makes it impossible to play with allied forces. this tank was such a beast compared to his counterpart, that you just could not win. play allied and lose. no chance. it really cracked the game. age of empire same rule applies, there were only 2 races playable. the 2 races which improved the katapult. this unit was everythig you needed, it bashed every other unit composition, so playing with a race without buffs to katapults was just a waste. well what else. tooooooooo tooooooooooooo many actually. but about magic the gathering, all of your cards are nothing against the most broken spell in the game. COUNTERSPELL -_- | ||

This simply isn't true. Cavalry beats catapults by a great margin. While Hittites were very strong due to the combination of their traits (as opposed to just the catapult one), Sumer was quite weak. If there is anything truly overpowered in aoe it would have to be the Shang whose villagers cost 15 less food (35). | ||
