![]() The Guardian might be worth mentioning, too. Though, experienced players probably defeat it thoroughly. ![]()

Warhammer fantasy 7th edition. Daemons of chaos ![]() The entire army list. Probably the only army in recent gamesworkshop history were people actually had to spend more time thinking how to take the worst possible selection of units just to give there enemies the possibility of winning, than actually making an optimum army. In comp tourneys, the daemons frequently had to play against other armies with 25%, 33% and even 50% larger forces than themselves and still often won regardless. Thankfully 8th edition tonned them down heavily, although they remain a fearsome army.

![]() The marine. Most cost efficient unit ever in the history of any and all RTS. Also, I know this isn't technically a "unit" but it's the most brokenly OP card in the history of cards And this was up there too ![]()

Pretty sure the way it worked was you would shoot it and it would instantly hit anything in the room... that was a long time ago though, so maybe it didn't work quite that way.... EDIT: LOL just saw 2 posts above me mention BFG Here are a few more: - Final Fight - the 2nd boss was ridiculous. If you could beat him, your game would easily go another 10 or 15 minutes - Syndicate - Gauss rifle - shoot accross the map and blow up anything - Daggerfall - Go into a shop, sleep/wait until night, then steal everything with no reprocussions (guess a bug more than anything) - Vanilla WoW - stuns before there were diminishing returns - Diablo 1 - duped staff of apocalypse with unlimited casts ROFL

You could spam his forward forward punch (low?) for an 80+ Ultra combo, assuming your opponent didn't know what combo breakers are. I think Orchid was the most played character though, because of her finisher. :X Cinder is listed as top tier, but I think it's just cause the game didn't get very mature. He has a lot of stupid glitches and tornado bullshit, but it's kind of predictable. Oh my god, I love killer instinct so much. Got it with my SNES when i was three, my mom hid it and I didn't know it existed until I was 7. Cinder was the only character I could play because I knew how to do his forward forward punch combos. Fun times.

Absolute Virtue from FF11. Pandemonium Warden isn't too far behind. These are considering them pre-nerf. Literally impossible to kill AV and 20+ hours for PW. Of course these guys are easier now since the nerf and level cap raise to 99, but before that...let's just say that with a subscription base of 600-800k+ for YEARS (3+) AV was never killed without glitching/hacking and Square-Enix even had to make a 4minute video to give hints on how to kill it. Still was never killed for a long ass time. That's not even the first of it...you would be lucky to even get him down to 80% HP and he AUTO-REGENS + Benediction (restore full HP) + uses all the jobs 2 hours like Manaburn + Chainspell. Dude so ridiculous. Nothing even comes close in any other game. Not even Orlandu. The battle with Absolute Virtue, along with the entire Lumoria NM System, was released in the July 19, 2005 Version Update. The level cap then was 75. Absolute Virtue is better known by its nickname "AV" by players across the globe. Due to the tediousness of Chain of Promathia missions, the ease of access to Lumoria, the difficulty of Lumoria NMs and the punishing drop rate for triggers, Absolute Virtue would not be seen by players until 3 months after the NM system was introduced. Absolute Virtue was not always a 100% spawn upon the defeat of Jailer of Love. Absolute Virtue is notorious for being the longest running NM that remained undefeated by players through legitimate means. This added to the unpopularity of the development team at the time, because any method deemed unacceptable by them would be nerfed from the game. The methods to curb Absolute Virtue's difficulty were officially revealed when the development team released a video with hints on how to defeat it in 2008, nearly 3 years after the battle was introduced. However, the video was heavily criticized for being too vague and not providing adequate hints on how to defeat the monster. Absolute Virtue had, on several occasions, been fought and held by linkshells for over 30 hours trying to defeat it, to no avail. In response to a wave of bad press surrounding another HNM Pandemonium Warden, Square Enix reduced the difficulty of Absolute Virtue in late 2008. Its HP total was reduced from an approximate 100,000 to around 66,000, and its stats were significantly lowered. A time limit of 2 hours was also imposed to prevent players from fighting it for too long. Absolute Virtue is one particular NM that has caused a number of changes in the game to take place. This has come as a result of players adopting unique strategies to try and defeat it. They are as follows. Wall of Justice: The zone Al'Taieu is separated into 4 sections by translucent walls. A glitch in the walls once allowed players on one side of the wall to target enemies on the other with no risk or danger of retaliation. This method was successful but players who used it faced ban warnings from GMs for terrain exploits. Dark Knight Zerg: After Absolute Virtue's difficulty was reduced, it became possible for an alliance of Dark Knights using multi-hit weapons (such as the expensive Kraken Club) together with Blood Weapon and Soul Eater to deal immense damage to it in less than a minute. This successful strategy sparked a wave of "revenge kills" as many linkshells banded together to kill it for its loot. This was quickly nerfed when Absolute Virtue was patched to gradually resist Soul Eater damage. Synchronized Modus Veritas: An oversight in the games limitation allowed an alliance of Scholars to exponentially increase the damage of Helix spells by simultaneously using the ability Modus Veritas. While this proved effective on smaller targets, it was never ever successfully replicated on Absolute Virtue. Modus Veritas was subsequently nerfed shortly after. Perfect Defense Zerg: Currently the most popular method used to defeat Absolute Virtue. A trio of Summoners use Alexander's Perfect Defense to buff the alliance on top of a typical Soul Voice zerg to prevent them from taking too much damage. This allows them to consistently deal damage to Absolute Virtue without risk of themselves dying too quickly. With the increase in level cap from 75 to its eventual 99, the battle against Absolute Virtue has seen its difficulty significantly reduced. However, defeating it is considered an achievement by many and its loot is still prized by most players. ![]()
