absolutely. he has like absolutely no lag after his aerials so as long as you keep hopping no one can touch you. and if they do you have imba recovery. then again almost all the SSB chars were abit imba.
Not praetorian, not immortal, but this is what gives monarch level players easy deity win! For those who do not know, this is unique unit from civilization 4 that had doubled its' strenght against archers, the primary defender units (oh yeah...).
and it's kinda hilarious how unimpressive that last kill is out of context (dthrow -> fair -> fair, yawn, lol), but as the deciding kill in a high profile tourney set like that, right after the chain-grab death combo, it's so fucking amazing.

Wow, I never used that unit. Damn thing has a strength of 4 (2 +100% vs Archery units) vs Archer's strength of 3. NERRRRF

Uhm, because of Z-cancelling (L-cancelling) in SSB64 every characters aireals has zero frame lag.
Theres more like easy combos, amazing recovery and some other stuff that rapes with Pikachu.

imo Pikachu is nothing compared to Kirby, Isai wouldn't play Kirby for like 5 years because he thought Kirby was way too broken
im a smash noob, so i never learned to l-cancel properly. i just short hop and pikachu has so little lag anyways, that it works out. especially cause i only play with randoms at my college.

I think he wasn't even a top char, let alone op?
I got something better, those 3 frogs in the box and if you're unlucky enough, you'll get a fixed random encounter with them in the cave on your way getting the Yeti guy to join you.
I skimmed over this thread quickly and was extremely disappointed that my top two were not represented. I went back and ctrl+f'd them and my faith in TL was restored

-Diablo 2 hammerdin. -Psychological class in Sonny 2 (flash game, lol, but a damn good one http://armorgames.com/play/2900/sonny-2 ) That's all I can think of for now.

one badass motha fucker right here
doesn't look like much but it kills everything. Literally
Medusa back in 3.84(?) DotA. 5-way split shot that did 100% damage in a 360 arc and mana shield. Stupid DPS, nigh impossible to kill, and purge to add insult to injury. It was always amusing to watch a team try to gank just to see her auto attack and win the fight.
