Last season, the ingeom dash monk build was doing t6 in under 2 minutes consistently. Now its even more insane with uliana + madstone + ingeom. And barbs can do it too now.

*edit* there is plenty to min / max still but nothing is going to get me into the solo 55+ range like an ancient weapon. I've dropped about 7 Johanna's this season but none have been ancient unfortunately. ![]()

The chance is pretty high from the cube, wont take that long to get one. I've made a couple ancient weapons this season so far by doing it.

Its better 95% of the time to just roll rares to legendary and hope you get it that way since white/blue/yellow mats + DBs are far easier to just casually farm than act mats are.

I've made a couple ancient weapons this season so far by doing it. you're right, that's probably the fastest way to farm a specific ancient. I always forget about all the other things the cube can do. :D the cube is really an awesome feature for build creating. I'm doing the generic hammerdin build with furnace, hexing pants, obisdian ring of the zodiac cubed. It's insane how powerful the cube makes your character in short time. I need a math lord to figure out if using an akanesh/skycutter (25% holy) with johannas cubed, would outperform using a Johannas with a Furnace cubed. I wonder if the 25% holy dmg makes up for 50% elite dmg in overall efficiency. I supposed it would depend on how much elite/holy you already have.

I really want to have the slot open for a furnace or In-Geom when I'm doing clears...there's really no point having something else as my weapon because with tthe Cube a FD + Furnace is the way to go... My friend found 4 In-Geom when he was farming yesterday and I wasn't there, LOL.

I'm done cubing around 130-140 legendaries so far so my stash is filling up again. I'm using Danetta/Natalya to farm bounties. I have to be careful to not vault too much in random directions or I get motion sick. hahahahaha

Nope...it is that expensive by itself.

I just completed Champion in the saison, not sure I want to go for Destroyer. Earning that conquest is gonna be hard unless I go for the 6 lvl 50 gems which is easy but a shit ton of rift farming.

So far, I've been mostly running T7 solo bounties so I can cube just about every legendary power I can find. However, my stash space is filling up just as fast as I'm cubing old legendaries. I'm collecting all the sets because I played a lot of them yet. And other legendaries that work well with the sets. And multiple copies of certain legendaries/sets because different builds require different stats. I'm done cubing around 130-140 legendaries so far so my stash is filling up again. You'll usually want to keep an ancient copy of whatever you've cubed in case you need to wear it and put something else in the cube. For my witch doctor, I'm keeping ancient voodoo masks that I've already cubed in case I want to wear the Belt of Transcendence or Tasker and Theo.

MoS:A plus the cold rune for dashing strike gives you 75% dodge rating which is huge when you consider dodge is complete damage avoidance over just reduction. With my monks current shitty-ish gear when i have MoS, Desert Shroud Ephiany and Dashing Strike Dodge up my sheet toughness is over 550 million. You dont need unity because there is very little time where you are actually vulnerable to damage. There's a 3-3.5 second window between SSS CDs once you have everything. thanks! one more question, is broken promises or convention of elements better?

CoE you use it on cd and 4 sec of every 20s you do crazy damage. Even with my badly geared monk I bursted a rift boss for 70 billion when CoE hit cold phase. I would also say that unless you have math that clearly shows BP is better, it isn't worth the hassle. You need a full set of gear for BP, and another set of gear for not using it, and that also limits your options (can't just swap out the cubed ring for a unity or something). BP build is definitely interesting though, do you know what it counts as an attack?

CoE is also kinda shitty because it'll only ever boost half your damage at any point. SSS is run with the physical CDR rune and Exploding Palm is the obvious cold rune so the benefits of CoE are minimalized quite a bit. When I ran CoE prior to getting BP I struggled to clear 40 in time. With BP I've cleared 49 with a decent amount of time left and my gear isn't even that good. My weapons are 2.2 and 2.1 k dps with no sockets. I think I only have about 170% CHD and the difference is obvious let alone what it would be for someone with actual good gear. I believe Quin69 touched more on the math difference between CoE and BP in his prepatch Ulianas guide
