At least they could turn the screens off.

At least they could turn the screens off. but then you cant see if there is a problem Yes you can. No botter is without a monitoring program or script. Actually viewing the bots activity is incredibly uncommon. When you have 50 to 100 of these things, you dont run around a room looking at monitors all day. This looks like a tech demonstration or something, not a complete setup. EDIT: And if you DO have to inspect a worker, its from a central location through programs like teamviewer, you dont hook up a monitor to the worker >.< On July 08 2012 07:30 UniversalSnip wrote: maybe they have the screens on just to take that photo Maybe, but thats generally a no no.

Personally i am not surprised. Just do a quick google you will see many people are botting multiple copies of the game anyway by using mediocre personal computer.

Keyboards and optical mice for every worker. Who does that? Every computer has a case instead of residing in a server rack. What? Waste of space. Waste of money. Waste of heat. Maybe its just a rich amateur trying it out. If it's real, thats the most ghetto rigged worker setup I have seen for its size.

But now I can barely go 20 minutes before I get disconnected from a game after extreme lag. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem? I can't even farm more than about 7-9 Elites, and I can barely progress on my other classes. I haven't been as disappointed with this game as many others yet, but now I'm starting to feel it. Hopefully it's just my end but nothing else shows signs of networking issues.

If you wanna craft, pray hard to the RNG gods. The market has already been heavily saturated with crafted items. It's gonna take a small miracle to craft a "25-35 million item".

I mentioned this because I wasn't sure if 15 mill, which I currently have, is enough to craft shoulders. Has anyone here crafted shoulders? If so, how many do you craft per batch to make a profit? edit: went ahead and bought enough mats for 100 crafts, could be a big mistake but oh well

If you really wanna craft, go check out shoulders on the AH and see if they're selling. See the stats on them, and then figure out how hard it takes to craft an item of similar value. I would guess that good items worth 10+ million appear at about 1% frequency

The problem is, even if they wanted to fix everything to be more like D2 (removing being stuck in one act, on one quest chain, what have you) they screwed themselves in development. In the beginning, people were pissed that the chat box wasn't customizable at all. I mean, it looks just like the one from World of Warcraft for the most part, right? But Bashiok relayed that "the user interface wasn't designed to be modular." Guess what? That same design philosophy was most likely used to get the game done and out the door. It's probably stuck in its on-rails incarnation forever. That's the pessimist in me speaking and may not be even close to reality, but from the sounds of it, the developers or Jay Wilson himself have decided how you will play Diablo 3 and that's final.

I laughed at how he complains about difficulty when he's simply undergeared. Then I stopped reading when he wanted to wade through enemies as though he's invulnerable. Sorry, only elite minions can do that. For the part that I read, he has some valid points, but the rest is just whining.

Right now as the game is itemized now, you can start inferno with gear ~15-20% of max, finish inferno at 30-40%. When you get to the 70-80%+ you damn well should be able to wade through monsters as if you were invulnerable. Hell was hard in D2 if you had no idea what you were doing, It also became faceroll if you did know what you were doing.

Ps I don't think the game is hard. Act 1 was hard until I geared up on auction. Now its a joke. Act 3 is tough for me, but once I get more boring gear (cause the itemization is broken as mentioned in the post) it will be zzzz ez. Yet I find myself agreeing with the article.
