I'm a barb and I never died (in solo) to Ghom... the most important thing is to keep the yellow oozes alive to trigger Revenge. | ||

Beginning of Act 4 - don't remember the quest name but they were in the first portal hidden in that growth. Dropped off a trash mob with maybe 3-4 NV stacks, no other mf. | ||

Cant get him below 50% before the room is covered The important thing is that, unless they fixed him in recently, ghom spawns poison patches under *you* instead of him in inferno. So what you do is have a small internal timer on the poison cloud, and a second or two before it pops, run -into- a pre-existing cloud, wait for ghom to spawn another cloud underneath you, and then diamond skin/teleport out. That way you cluster the poison clouds into a slowly expanding giant cloud instead of having them spread all over the place. The clouds really do minimal damage unless you sit in them for 5+ seconds. | ||

So i'm trying to decide what kind of 1-hander I should get for my monk to help my farm in Inferno Act 1 easier. I've been looking for more in-depth info about the relationship between the DPS and IAS. I'm looking at 2 weapons with similar stats in terms of Dex and etc but one weapon has much higher DPS say about 100 - 200 more, while the other has 10% more attack speed. Which weapon would I get the highest boost in DPS from? | ||

Barb can do ghom using a little bit of LoH and overpower + crushing advance (30% damage reflection for 4 seconds which can proc LoH) | ||
