From what I can tell, the only suspicious thing about it is that I tried logging into The Americas' servers while the Euro servers were completely down (including accounts etc), that seems to be what triggered the email I received (I know it wasn't a phishing email or anything, I was notified about it first ingame trying to log in). Once the Euro account stuff came back up I changed my password (received an email saying I'd changed it afterwards) and my account was unlocked, tested and had a little play on The Americas' servers then went to sleep, at this point my old password worked for my WoW account, and the new password for D3, new for WoW wouldn't work nor the old one for D3. Then when I got up and tried logging in to D3 it said my password was wrong (the new one, which I just changed it to), so I tried the old one and that worked (WoW is the same as it was, old working, new not). I'm pretty confused about what happened, I'm pretty certain this was just a mistake and no one else had access to my account, so I'm not worried about that (nothing on WoW or on D3 has been touched, and it was only locked when I tried to log onto the game, that's exactly when the email was received), I just don't understand why my password change didn't work :p. Might as well add that this isn't the first time it's been locked due to suspicious activity. The other time was due to me (this was actually me, not someone else, before someone thinks I was keylogged/phished :p) activating 7 day trials on my other 2 WoW accounts and creating a level 1 char on each account called something like "fdhsgkfa" to sign a guild charter :D. So, Euro servers are down again, so I tried logging onto The Americas ones, seems my password on Euro WoW/D3 is my original password, and my password for The Americas servers is the one that I had to change it too :s.

That's normal. thats why i hate SC. skip them. When u die np. Just so unfitting to my understanding of how a game should be :/ anyway, sold all my SC stuff that i legially found in the first month in SC and traded for myself without going on a single goblin hunt or absuing any bug the game has/ had for ~90€. And yes, im proud of it^^ All out on HC now, my first lvl 60 monk died to an elite surround with frozen in a2 inferno :/ the other 3 (wizard 51, monk 44, wizard 34) are also worth mentioning. thats gaming for u, sir :D rolling wizard again! play it slowly...

Never really care for HC. I have plenty of deaths from rubberbanding. The last thing I need is to ragedeath and not my fault.

And on HC you skip them before you even engage. Or you run/tele/leap/spiritwalk to the nearest zonechange/waypoint and remake game. Or you die.

I get rubberbanding (my character can move, "try to attack" but everything stops. My character can still move while everything else stops. Then, after 5 seconds, everything catches up. On higher difficulties, this usually results in death). No other game lags, online tests (including packet loss test from dslreports and pingtest) show low latency, so just D3 lags. According to this topic, it's the route between client and blizzard's server that may be causing the lag (which may be different for everyone?): http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5837015026 Anyone else lagging? Though it seems only 1% people have this problem (otherwise, general would be filled with people complaining about lag instead of everything else about D3).

And HC is running away the first second seeing a bad affix combo and remaking the game. And skipping every single champ pack later on (see Kripp & Krippi). And spending multiple hours farming even more mindless content so you overgear everything and the risk of dieing is minimal. But if that's the way you enjoy the game since you suddenly discovered the Ironman mentality in D3: more power to you ![]()

I'm one of the lesser(relatively) geared monks on TL and I did ghom. 20k dps, 650 LoH, 8.5k armor and 600 poison resist. Definitely the hardest boss in the game, but it's pretty much the only hard gear check you will ever get. Strategy has more to do with it. So long as you don't run around like a headless chicken kiting, and plan it out it's not a particularly difficult fight.
