They've already told us they're going to fix some issues with it already on that patch. Itemization and more balance + pvp changes coming in 1.1. Yes, they should have been here SINCE THE GAME LAUNCHED, but at least we know they're on their way. Are they good? Will they fix the problems? I'll be amazed if they do. I'll probably even praise blizzard if they did. But I doubt it. They'll just round the corners a little bit, and still have a relatively unpolished system.

In the long run sure, but inferno is not what make the large masses stop playing since most aren't even there yet. If inferno balance was the only problem right now, Blizzard would be jumping with joy.

The good news is I reported it to Blizzard and they've rolled it back to before some shit head stole all my items. The bad news is, due to the roll back, I've lost the legendary item I found last night. The good news is legendary items in this game are mostly shit and the one I found was no exception. I did lose a few valuable blues and yellows, though. After losing several hours of game play, several hundred thousand gold and several bargains from the AH, I'm currently debating on whether or not I can be bothered playing this game any more. This answer right now is "no."

so now the game is perma fucked, because people got through the game easily on release week with abusive builds and now every barb farming gold all day to buy act3 drops hides the fact that they cant touch act2 without being over geared. every single barb who is in act3/4 'solo and doing it easy' or whatever retareded things they say got there through either rng luck, selling something for 20mil then waiting for a demon hunter to sell an act3 item to them, friends loot assistance or grouping with dps classes to get a boost. needing perfect gear from act1 doesnt bother me, needing twice as good gear as a ranged dps bothers me. game is fubar.

This answer right now is "no." IMO get a refund. Then wait a year or two maybe and purchase the game again when everything is fixed and maybe it has more content (if they're generous enough these days to add free content like the old Blizz used to -- see WC3's 4-5 hour free campaign). You'll probably still keep your precious character if you rebuy the game later and log on your account.

Too bad alot of people already gave up on D3, because the game sucks so much right now. They shouldn't have released a completly unpolished game. Since Activision is on board, Blizzard goes down hard! Same with EA<=BioWare. -_-

Activision may or may not be publishing Blizzard's products directly but they certainly all answer to the same board of directors and follow similar rule sets on products. It's pretty clear how Activison has been influencing Blizzard since around '08. I feel the quality of their games have dropped off significantly ever since.

And there's always going to be some bugs slipping through the mazes. Balance issues there always will be when there's not a beta that goes all the way to level 60. Which is understandable for a non-mmo to not have such an extensive beta. But that has nothing to do with QA. On June 02 2012 21:37 Deadlyhazard wrote: Pretty much. Err, the changes of board of directors hasn't changed radically since 2005 really. Or do you really think that Vivendi's board of directors were any better then Activision's?

I think it's a massive troll but not too sure. Very nicely done either way, he'll have a lot more viewers now and worst come to worst Blizzard will rollback anyway. I burst out laughing at the hamburger + 1337 part.

And all of these are not supposed to be seen on a non-beta product. Don't tell me D2 had a lot issues blah blah, this is 2012, they have massive resources to work on D3 but they chose to rushing the product out.

If it truly were someone they wouldn't put a hamburger on his main weapon and just put gold at 1337. Blizzard would have rolled back his character.

But you're blaming QA for problems which are not the responsiblity of QA at all. I do know the game has issues but a lot of those issues are end game. The QA is more related with ingame bugs, like a quest failing to turn in. Mobs that get stuck. That sort of stuff. A lot of what you're complaning about are game design issues, balance issues. those are not related to QA. The reason I'm annoyed at your comment is because I know somehow who works at Blizzard QA D3 department. Compared to a lot of modern releases Diablo 3 is a fairly solid game bugs wise. If you want to blame a department for Inferno balancing, you have to blame the strike team not QA.
