The hacking (as he explains it in the video, so could all be a troll!) was not because some random hacker came across his account randomly, but was because he accidentally typed his password into the account email box while streaming. So they would've known he was indeed Athene and then trolled him with the 1337 gold and the hamburger, which I found hilarious.

They fixed reflect damage. Now it actually does damage to you, instead of being a useless affix. Cast zombie bears on a pack of enemies = instagib.

Source? As far as I could tell reflect damage was always working.

They fixed the amount of reflect damage actually. The affix itself was always working but the % damage has been adjusted. They buffed the affix.

Edit: small correction. the spell reflection damage has been adjusted as it was not in line with physical reflect of damage. This doesn't really affect melee classes but makes it harder for ranged classes.

Ughh. Bad Diablo 3 day.

1. Found the bargain of the century on an amulet - auction house error. Then it was sold. Wanna hear the stats on it? 100+int, 100+ vit, 12% IAS, 5% crit, 23ish all res. Then the price. 50k buyout. 50.000... FML.
2. Did quest 1 on Act 3 inferno, lit all the beacons, literally 5 steps before final checkpoint, error 37. Have to do it all over.
3. So stupid/broken champion affixes. Vortex, molten, arcane enchanted lolol. Extra health takes forever. Monsters have too much hp; this is diablo! Seriously, monsters shouldn't take 4 min to kill.

1. The error message probably just indicates that someone beat you to it. When I see like a super bargain don't compare too long, just buy it instantly. That works the best. I've had it a few times before where I wanted to rip my hair out.

2. Ouch

3. Seems like you don't have enough dps for high health monsters. I think the hp pool is fine. Arcane enchanted and vortex are fine, but with molten it's indeed kind of broken for melee classes.

Eh, most of the problems are server related. And there's always going to be some bugs slipping through the mazes. Balance issues there always will be when there's not a beta that goes all the way to level 60. Which is understandable for a non-mmo to not have such an extensive beta. But that has nothing to do with QA.

You said that yourself, Most of the problems are server related and we both know there are many more issues with this game. And all of these are not supposed to be seen on a non-beta product. Don't tell me D2 had a lot issues blah blah, this is 2012, they have massive resources to work on D3 but they chose to rushing the product out.

But you're blaming QA for problems which are not the responsiblity of QA at all. I do know the game has issues but a lot of those issues are end game. The QA is more related with ingame bugs, like a quest failing to turn in. Mobs that get stuck. That sort of stuff. A lot of what you're complaning about are game design issues, balance issues. those are not related to QA. The reason I'm annoyed at your comment is because I know somehow who works at Blizzard QA D3 department. Compared to a lot of modern releases Diablo 3 is a fairly solid game bugs wise.

If you want to blame a department for Inferno balancing, you have to blame the strike team not QA.

I am simply only referring to the way they did this 'Q&A', is like this game is still in beta. How many non-beta game has 'Q&A' like this lol

if anything mobs dont have enough health, it encourages this gimmick of nuking things down in 2 seconds on inferno with 0 survivability. if that wasnt possible, or atleast harder, people would play a more normal style.

lol, the & makes a large difference you made it sound like you were saying what a terrible job the Quality Assurance team did (except a few minor things I think they did a fine job imo. Bethesda can learn a thing or two from that :p) but you were refering to the Questions & answers.

Agreed Skyrim came with so many bugs...So many....Bethesda would learn a lot from Blizzard.

Note: Skyrim wins game of the year but doesn't even get marked down, even a con, or how many system glitches there was.

Well, Skyrim had some gamebreaking bugs that 300 hours in my save file got corrupt and all my progress on that character was gone. Fun times .

Do note though, that Blizzard QA works through the entire developement of a game and that every build get's QA'ed as well. (for internal builds, a Blizzcon, a gamescon and so forth, but mostly just internal builds). They're a bit more relaxed when it comes to WoW expansions, there they just make sure the game doesn't crash and let people find the bugs most of the times as it's otherwise just madness.

That's quite a big difference between some of the other companies where QA happens when the game nears completion and sometimes not enough QA, or too rigid QA. "Don't test stuff the player isn't supposed to do".

I know how you feel, as I was subject to account hacking.

Coming from someone who considers himself proficient in computers, and who has not been hacked in any other online game before, it just seems fishy.

I'm now taking an extra precaution, i.e. a virtual authenticator.

I ordered it as well, I have played online game since Ulitma Online beta never had 1 issue

Gold can't be worth that much. I am guessing around 10-15 bucks.
