I loved Diablo2 spent 6-7 years of my life grinding that shit and don't regret a second of it! It was fun to play through on its own, just better to grind through and get sick gear.

Clear out trash, kite elites for 3 minutes until they die, skip them if they have an especially nasty set of abilities, make easy millions -> spend millions to get more gear that'll allow you to still kite. My barb/monk buddies just get eaten alive even though they're much better geared, so if I play multiplayer inferno I'm carrying them because they keep dying and it takes even longer to kill stuff. This game has a lot of potential but the inferno difficulty is BS. It's cheap, and "hard" in a boring, artificial way. I've been playing this since release and I'm extremely disappointed with the so-called endgame. Gathering gear can't be pleasant in the slightest, it's just a gross, disgusting grind. Imo the game is worth $60, I just wish the endgame didn't suck so much.

edit: ok I take it back there's an actual skillful way to do this

I mean yea gotta patch it because people abused it hardcore.... but the Boss of the Entire ACT giving 9k exp and 400 gold? Dafuq? Yeah should have just given the quest reward the first time you complete it (when it gives you the achievement) and then not again.

Hey I'm not a game designer, if I gave my opinion would you ask me to mod it into the game too? I don't think I'm the one with a solution anyway, some things just suck. I expect more from Blizzard (well not really anymore). I'm filthy rich considering how much I've played, because I subjugated myself to kiting uni-dimensional bullshit packs of trash mobs. There's a huge gap between me and the people I know because I happened to choose the "right" class. Either way, trash is going to get old so maybe they'll catch up. I'm wondering though, are you suggesting it's fine as it is? I mean, you're allowed to like kiting all day, maybe that's your thang.

Having reactive / skillful evades on every class against instakill stuff while no proper evade against stuff that deals some of your hp constantly?

Every class should be able to solo inferno ( blizz even said they strive to have this). Wizard and demon hunter should each be tanks and dps on their own, basically an all rounded character. But as it stands in inferno, only the classes that manage not to get hit survive, and the melee classes just die. imo a wiz/DH shouldn't be a beast tank ( like you say) but they def should be able to take some damage.
