can someone explain to me why everyone dies so fast nightmare and onward? i have 10k hp, 2100 armor (I'm a monk) level 50 doing act 4 in nightmare, - no matter hwo much life i have, the fuckers do so much damage, (i have no resistance items yet, fair enough)
I don't understand how i'm supposed to live longer... more dodge, more life, more regen (i have mantra gives 500 regen p sec helps a fuckload), more lifesteal? (won't really help, the creeps do like 4000 dmg per hit sometimes) I DONT UNDERSTAND. more armor ? do i need 10k armor 40k hp? seems like that would be the appropriate numbers to get me through the fucking ARCANE LAZERS AND FREEZING MOLTERS FUCK

I don't really understand the whole +damage on weapon as opposed to the +intelligence modifiers for spells. I was consistently finding 2 handed maces/sword or 2 handed crossbows that would increase my overall damage by 20 or 30 each time whereas a weapon that would usually be associated with the WD like the ceremonial dagger/relic totem combo that would have much higher intelligence and less damage would drop my damage way below what the 2 handed weapons would. Surely just taking the best overall damage items like +2 damage on rings or attack speed would do better damage than stacking intelligence for a caster class because every spell is based off weapon damage. The whole +damage stat is misleading somewhat, and I am pretty sure I have missed something, somewhere.

intelligence directly modifies your dps 1 int increases your dps by 1%, so the approximate formula is weapon dps * int/100

I just saw "Wirts bell" at Act2 Hell at a vendor.
costs 100.000 and says "brings you to a place far away"

damage calculation is something like weapon damage * (class stat / 100)
weapon damage is lower than class stat amount, so any increase to +damage will have a greater effect on DPS than +stat

So I just finished Nightmare. Are bosses not supposed to drop decent loot or what? Not a single decent drop off of any boss :/

Why are they mutually exclusive? I like the movespeed debuff on haunt and the additional target on Locust. If you're going to DoT things you might as well use both to maximize your kiting. You might want to trade out for bats if you're in a narrow area though.

There is nothing more annoying than vampiric/molten mobs. The ones that spin. I could not even hurt them as my monk unless i seven sided striked then ran out. Also Jailer+desercrator, So hard to kill.
