Not one of the more pleasant packs I've fought. Nightmarish + mortar is already kinda sheisty, since it's hard to stutterstep when you're running in fear, and easy to get smacked by the mortars.

Mix in the fact that they were writhing deceivers, with that fun little habit of being impossible to hit when they're not in melee range, where they like to use nightmare... FML that fight sucked.

Just found out gems have no lvl requirement you can put flawless square gems into lvl 20 items. Thats hell OP

Are there any resistance gear for pre 60? I'm playing a barb in Act 1 Hell and just getting owned by anything with a molten affix... trying to tank is just flat out painful.

Intelligence gives you some resists, and I've seen resists as early as nightmare. So yeah, you can get an affix for that.

You should just be stacking armor at that point. Armor is -% damage against ALL damage types, not just physical.

After some theorycrafting I've decided to try out very slow 2H which is crossbow and quiver. I went on AH to buy extremely good rares for 10k -both ! (AH is beautifull, search a bit and you can find amazaing things very very cheap). I am in the middle of III Act on NM, and I love it. I've played 46lvls with dual wield and now I don't want to go back. Yes 2H hit less often, but they hit like a truck and they give steady damage. Even with exact same dual wielded crossbows You get huge min/max damage difference and You can hit anywhere from (let's say 1-10 range)10 to 2, with 2H you get 8-10. And that's only when You have identical dual wielded weapons, if no You alternate even with special like impale and waste hatred on low damage weapon. Of course one can be pro and take from damage which shot low or high is next and adjust.
DPS in a great tank'n'spank is the same provided same level weapons, but I like to hit predictably and always high damage. It's mostly a preference thing.

HC. I entered the fight in act 3 got disconnected than error 3007 and when i came back my char was dead. Fucking nice. i had full health. I guess 2 days of play gone because of server.

yes you can. i agree with the other guy most of the gameplay is similar to wow. but with the choice i will probably enjoy diablo more for a few reasons.

positioning / aiming are possible. in wow its point and click, you play against the interface more than the boss sometimes. i have to actually position my hero more in diablo.

theres no pure healing/support role. even playing a withdoctor who is more than happy to spam cc, im glad i need to add damage too. it doesnt feel good for the game to have people who just tank/heal. everyone should do a little bit of everything, so it feels like a team effort.

the content is actually hard. wow has never been a challanging game. the hardest thing about heroic raiding is finding 20 people on your entire server who arent terrible. diablo allows me to do something actually quite difficult and at my own timing. no 5 hour instances or 20 minute run backs. run in and try hard quickly over and over.
