Also I just rocked a 1v2 lane with Nasus. He's so good when you build him tanky. It's like Randium's Omen was made for the guy.

You can join HoN matchmaking minutes after buying the game, why do people seem to think you need to grind hundreds of games before you can compete in this? It's so insane how peoples minds have been warped around the system that LoL has implemented. It makes no sense at all. Masteries and runes are not THAT significant and I've been a better player than 75% of level 30s in half the amount of time it takes to reach level 30. I don't know if they want to sell more XP potions or some shit or they are just trying to quell the massive amount of level 30s who are so delusional as to think they aren't as fuck-awful as they actually are at this game, but I'm not gonna allow myself to be relegated to grinding games like it's World of Warcraft because some self-entitled trash players who have 500+ games under their belt think it's my fault that they are still terrible. | ||

You can still join matchmaking at level 1. You can't join the highly competitive play that you'll probably lose anyway in for another 10 levels (like two weeks) and consequently newer players also can't make that mistake. Sounds like a win for everyone. | ||

Especially for early game mana regen. you have seen better players then the level 30s because you are being matched with level 30s at that point, level 30s who drop that low are going to be terrible. I'm very happy that they did this, in fact I wish they did it from the start when I was starting ranked. | ||

If they win, they win. the main problem is they drag 4 other people down with them, and its bad for player morale to lose a game due to one person which you feel does not belong on your team, the truth may be that the ranking may be similar, but one person may be pro working their way up, and another person may be noob that got carried by friends. Its one of the problems when you use a system designed for individual play like Elo and use it for a team oriented game. Then again, theres few alternatives besides Elo to determine ranking. | ||

1) What does the blue/red/purple buff do exactly? 2) Do item effects stack? (possible answer: all but the unique ones? How about boots?) 3) Does CD reduction work on all spells? (it seems like it doesn't reduce the CD on Ashe's ulti, though I couldn't tell for sure) 4) How is damage calculated? (just a rough description instead of the proper formula, like armor = absolute reduction?) I guess that should do for now. | ||

Purple = Damage/AP boost and added Regeneration 2) If the effect is not Unique, they all stack. Boots effects are unique so they do not stack. 3) Yes, CD reduction works for everything except for nidalee's pounce. (that I know of) 4) Q: How does armor and magic resistance work? (Credit to Garek for framing it better than I could.) Every 1 armor means the damage it takes to kill you is extended by 1% of your hitpoints. At 100 armor, it takes 100% more damage to kill you, ie it requires double damage, ie you're taking half-damage. At 300 armor you're taking 25% damage, etc. Magic resistance works in the exact same fashion, except it does so against spells only. There is no overlap between armor and magic resistance at all. (Ex.
