Ppl complaining about lag and here i am logging onto EU from AU..
Hmm free champ time. Always wanted to snipe with Karthus..

just go normal que if your'e complaining about level requirement
it's just ranked play except you can't see your elo and you have no bragging rights. you still have full access to the game.
the elo system works exactly the same for ranked and normal i believe

And you'll get better at the game, and the better you are the faster you'll climb ranked anyways >_>
Edit: After a few days (of inept being inactive) I finally leapfrogged him for highest ranked solo ladder TLer, I think. Rawr. Bring it on, inept!

wondering that too, you'd have to be a ridiculously fucking awful player to only have 15 cs after 25 minutes whatever champion you're playing.

Thoughts?
At first i was like "oh wow such a cool champ" but then i realized that he will probably be another Malzahar that offers to his team (except the damage) 1 mass slow which "forces" him into 2.5 sec zhonya, ult that increases damage dealt for whooping 5 secs and mass heal with 0.5 AP ratio, so i'm a bit skeptical now

Kinda cool, but he seems a bit too close-ranged for comfort. The HP <-> AP interaction will be interesting to see, though.

The damage amplification is pretty good. It'd be like the Dirge from DotA, just a big tank that causes a lot of death.

@1 I'm saying that if your sub 30 and you pre-make, your with teammate who know you and respect the fact your not 30. If you solo queue sub 30, you'll end up with people level 30 who will blame the loss on you, even if its the sub 30 duo laning with a 30, or by a pro player who isn't 30 able to turn the tables in the early game. Its unlikely but there are those sub 30 who actually succeed (though mostly mid 20's not early 20's)
@2 Think the gist of what I was saying is that the leavers might have a previous record and that by also comparing the average leave rate of players vs ranked leave rate you might be able to get a better comparison of those with a history vs those who leave despite the fact of a clean record. 4.2% leave rate at level 20, might be 4.2% leave rate ALL the time, while level 30's might have a better leave rate because theres more of them, there might also be the fact that leavers with a strong history of leaving is bringing that value up. Only 1.2% of leavers in 30, might be 100% of those with a history of leaving.
@3 If a level 30 loses 100 points, maybe they play with a level 20 who gained 100 points. Sometimes solo queue has luck to it, or its another way to say "don't suck." If your lane falls its your fault, if another lane falls its luck, but eventually bad luck goes away (it might be S2, but it evens out in the end.)
Maybe this, maybe that, the stats are right there, why would they lie just to change it? If there wasn't a problem they'd leave it in place. I'm sure there are people who understand these statistics WAY better than you at Riot. All I'm saying is that I'm really, really glad this is being implemented.
All Riot has to do to shut ppl who think this change is bad is to PROVE these stats are consistant across ALL THREE INDIVIDUAL playlists. If they are making this change based on solo queue, everyone knows its a crapshoot and are using a bad pool of statistics to access the issue from. Thats the issue with these stats. If all the leaving is coming from solo queue, you implement a rule that if your leave rate after 10 games is > 10% you are forced to go < 10% over 25 normal games. If the win ratio of level 20 players is low because they are solo queuing, but in terms of premade the win ratio goes up to 44-45% That is within a window I'd say would classify as being a mastery/rune difference but is enough to say that the gap can be overcome. I'd like 3 lines for each chart, one for solo queue, one for pre made 3, and the other pre made 5... if you want to leave the overall fine, but I don't want these changes being made based on one playlist because lower levels don't have friends to rank together with.
PS: About normal queue for us who don't like the change, we'd prefer learning new champs in practice games rather than going into normal queue with the "Hey all, I'm using a champ first time, cut slack please." Not to mention they haven't implemented draft into normal play or allow for draft in practice rooms to satisfy those who want to play under those rules. If when I click normal I can go into casual draft rooms I'd play that over normal blind pick. Hopefully when practice rooms return I can go into practice draft and get the best of both worlds.

Just as a note (I'm not gonna touch on the <30 stuff), I'm of the opinion (oft-repeated) that practice games are junk for testing anything. I think it's like Practice - you find out what the skills do Normal - you find out how it fares against decent opponents
90% of the time you can sleepwalk through practice games just because most people there are really, really bad.

Rofl ended up winning. Karthus just roflstomps late game. I had a 850+ Ult haha
Edit: btw Normal is the new practice. Try logging onto a new account. All you have is Normal and Tutorial options...

The passive is the same as Jaxes, expect for AP. Unlike Malzahar who has NO survivability but the best damage this one is a insane Tank with a build in invulnerability. There is little reason for him to build anything but HP. The damagetakingdebuff is considerable, just think of how effective they already are on Kayle and Poppy.

Lay Waste is all about mind games.
Does anybody else think that newly released champions should have a 'cooldown' period when they're unavailable for ranked and tournament play?
PS: The new champ looks cool. I wanna be a freaking vampire.

PS: The new champ looks cool. I wanna be a freaking vampire. Could be interesting but technically they already went through beta testing and if top players are going to only play ranked games with the occasional unranked game "for fun" it's going to be hard to balance the char after release.
Basically all the feedback you'd get would be from newbies.
BTW I'm thinking more and more about vlad now, he looks like a char I'd play and it's definitely going to be a good break from jax/alistar/sion...

And then Xin Zhao would be nerfed to the ground, Pantheon would never have been nerfed, Annie and Fiddle would also be nerfed like hell, and Janna woulda been unchanged!
