If your team is disciplined though, you can deal with Olaf pretty easily by just waiting his ult out, lol. It's what teams I'm on usually do. I think there was that game I youtubed where we did that to him over and over again, pretty funny.

it's really hard to run from red buffed Olaf with time warp on him and frozen mallet....

yea i wasted a bunch of my ip on champs early on cause i had a bunch saved that i wasnt using. bought some stupid champs(TF and mundo). but ive been playing free champs pretty exclusively and been having fun doing it so ive got alot of IP banked. just got a full set of T3 mp5pl seals yesterday but still have 8k. waiting to decide on my next champ purchase. gonna make sure i actually like the champ before splurging(or i might just buy Ez...)

Speaking of season 1, I'm not gonna touch ladder until I gain the 9 lvls between me and 30. With a good chunk of the serious business players moving over to ranked, it should make unranked solo queue a lot of fun

im not even sure I'll ladder much. we'll see if i like it when i try it out. the whole draft thing and unique champs.

ladder is level 30 only anyway. would be too unfair for the team with low level

I had a blast playing singed last night. It seems that by trying to dick around as singed I was actually playing him correctly.Having all 5 members of the opposing team go on a wild goose chase after you is just sooooo fun. He's also so radically different from any other hero I've played so far, I'm gonna buy him ASAP.

I hate playing against singed! His slows and poison are so annoying

I agree Singed is one of the most fun champs in the game. I think he is way under used.

are you guys kidding me? all but the ABSOLUTE worst players are going to move to ranked. unranked will be what Twisted Treeline is now - empty. there are sooooooo many terrible players that have just grinded their way to a large number of wins (even if their losses are also high) and think they're good at this game. didn't they do a poll on the LoL forums and like 70% of players think they're mid-high ELO? aka 70% of players think they're good enough to play competitively... ranked is going to be what normal 5's is now, and unranked is going to be dick around mode.

I'm cool with playing with awful players as long as the other team is full of awful players too, especially when my end goal is just getting full runes and masteries.

I wouldn't be so sure. Some people might not like draft mode and I think there is a difference between not wanting a game to affect your publicly viewable ELO and the full blown dicking around that happens in practice games.

So how exactly will the transaction to season 1 work? Will our elo get reset or will they just make a whole new elo for ranked and keep our elo for un-ranked?
