That game, I went Overload > Prison > Flux > Ult. I never even bothered using ult at all since I had no clue when to use it. My item build was sapphire into tears, and then got sorc shoes, rod of ages, and then guardian. All I did was go up to someone, prison, flux, overload. Is this a good build or should I change something? | ||

I'd dragon with 1 other right after hitting lvl 6, and baron right after lvl 11 with whole team, easy kills with the ulti, and really helps the team out. I'm going doran shield+hp pot if soloing and health gem if I'm not, building towards aegis 1st, then merc feet into sun cloak, after that I go either 2nd sun, thorn or banshee, depending on their team. | ||

Is this a good build or should I change something? skill order: EQEWR-> max E -> max W -> max Q (R take when ever possible) R is simply a buff for your 3 normal skill, it increase your AP + turn ur spell into AoE. Free mana cost therefore no reason not taking it. Use it before you use any spell in that battle so everyspell will get the buff. Notice that the passive of Ryze is reducing 1 sec cd for every spell u cast so your ulti cd is really fast and spamable with your other skill. spells: i prefer having heal + ghost for ryze since he really need these to escape/staying in battle. lots of people would recommend to get flash so you can get close to enemy so E will 100% sure will bounce off but it kinda "killing yourself" if you do that... other would sure take ignite but really, mid/lategame it is useless as enemy will build up their magic res as they see you are doing well... Playing ryze: E use to harras bc the range is = any range champs early on. W use to catch people to make sure they stand in 1 place to take all your combo. Q last hitting if you need since you only take 1 level of it early, at level 1 ryze deal 100 damage with this spell at 50 mana cost so it basicly spamable. Notice that your E can bounce between you and enemy so if you ganking in jungle or river, try to get close to the enemy instead of casting this spell max range(aka. nevar-cast-this-spell-max-range-when-he-is-alone) runes set: some mana regen would help you spam skills since early game to harras. cd reduction per level is GREAT on ryze, it make your combo can recycle once more at lv 18 with some decent item. also give in some AP and magic pen if you can. masteries: i prefer putting 22 into utilities, 3 into ap @ offend, the rest is on your style. @mid  base on personal exp)vs ashe: great deal, everytime she try to harras you, make sure you press your E button ready to wait for her in the range cast and she will take moar damage than you do. always have some creeps between you and her so that she wont be able to harras you vs tris: kinda balance out if you see a good DPS tris, for ap tris, do same as ashe vs kat: nightmare of squishy mid champs, play defendsively, try to last hit so that creep always near your turret and she cant blink into you. if she try to take out turret, use your whole skill set to clear creeps so she have to back off. at level 6, ask your teame to take over mid and start ganking. vs heim: i really dont know how, somebody teach me please :\ So why ryze: first of all with a good prepare b4 game, investment in rune sets and few game practice, you would be able to handle a champs that can kill ANY tanky champ late game in 1 set combo (not counting the gay endless rage). early skill spamable for lane harrasment, mid game skill set cd so fast so that you can use them on farming and still hv them cd in time for battle. your creep stat avg would be >150 for most game and you have potential to kill all 5 enemy champs lately So why not ryze: well as people like to call him, he is a "glass cannon". mid late game he is so squishy such that he would die to almost every combo the through at him. if enemy know bout his thread, he will hardly escape any gank without losing at least half a health bar. you need to have great + experienced map sense. also you must have a decent farming skill in case shit happen early on and you try to come back mid game. dun know what to add in, still thinking E: On July 03 2010 16:53 Juicyfruit wrote: Like I said, it's usually beneficial to throw your flux FIRST, then click ulti while it's travelling/bouncing. Has anyone else noticed how bad the twitch's are when he's free? It's absolutely hilarious. I've seen probably half a dozen AP twitches failing soo hard this week. | ||
