For example if you got a market in a city and fill the 2 specialist slots then that city generate GP points, when they reach the limit a Great Merchant would be made for that city.

I notice there's a whole social policy for great persons and I dont understand the interest of it similarly with the whole aspect of working on getting city-states alliance all game. Well, it's helpful to think of great person generation as another resource to address in citizen management and another facet of a particular strategy. If you're going for a culture victory, you're going to want some culture specialists much earlier, and you'll likewise want to fill in the Aesthetics tree. Similarly, strategically filling your library for a Great Scientist can make a big difference when it comes to tech crunches, particularly at higher difficulties.

Not going to do many more of those, tried a few to fiddle around with diplo victories but these games just drag too much. I didn't read much about the patch notes but did they also change the AI aggressiveness ? On lower levels it looks like they simply refuse to DoW me I tried to bait my neighbor but he just wouldn't , deleted some units to test what I could get away with and even with 1 . archer left as my whole army for 4-5 cities he wouldn't touch me. (was on level 5) seems really odd. cranked up the difficulty and seemed to be back to normal. I get why they are more passive on lower levels but this was a bit ridiculous...
