I was gonna write a hype thread for WCS NA featuring Scarlett. It woulda been using Game of Thrones as an analogy, without giving away any spoilers other than the fact that the character mentioned at one time or another existed. I was gonna make Scarlett Brianne of Tarth. In an ideal world she woulda been The King in the North, and Stephano coulda been Daenarys and everyone would have a goodhearted chuckle. As she is the Queen in the North and Stephano is the dragon. Unfortunately people would certainly be immature and be all OMG She's The King in the North because _____. You get the idea... So Brianne works well, as she is be the fiercest swordswoman in the land, and people don't see her as a major threat until she roflstomps them. Plus her allegiences are more or less to the north, moreso than to any other land at least. So anyways, Scarlett as Brianne, Idra as Jaime Lannister. He was good but in the era we know him in, is more arrogant than truly skilled and plenty of warriors (Brianne included) have caught up to him. From there, we can call HuK as Ned Stark. Once the finest warrior in the north, now aged but still a formidable contender. He fought with TT1 (Robert Baratheon) at the Trident (that GOM world championship last year). Major is Gregor Clegane, The Mountain that Rides... It doesn't entirely make sense because really Major would be from Dorne but it suffices, and this way we can leave Maker as Prince Oberyn the Red Viper of Dorne, and just leave it at that because frankly that's all that we know anyway and it leaves area for an epic battle to transpire should they meet in a tournament. If Major is The Mountain, then his brother should be Vibe. It makes sense, one of the best swordsmen in the land, overshadowed by his brother for some reason, but wins major tournaments (WCS). Also in allegience with the lannisters. It fits perfectly. That leaves room for Illusion. He's allied with the Lannisters (from USA) but is from quantic and not Root/Clegane. Therefore, I'd have to say he is Ser Loras. Perhaps the best warrior in the land. Ostojiy therefore is Jon Snow. He's a rising star that is still in the shadow of mightier warriors and doesn't really showup much, but when he does he kicks ass. Of course this is all up to whoever wants to create this epic hype thread. I just REALLY want to see a hype thread ending or beginning with: Be warned Amerricanisters... Winter Is Coming. If somebody here wants to create it (again, it's very easy to make this all about Scarlett. She's the Northman that just keeps on winning every battle she takes part in. You can relate her to her fellow countryment, or most of the Southerners without giving away any big spoilers. And comeon, with her as Brianne and Idra as Jaime Lannister, no reader of GOT isn't going to find that humorously apt). Unfortunately I need to go to a funeral tomorrow so I can't get it up in time, but I'm going to post this here and on reddit incase some brave and awesome soul wants to complete and polish this awesomeness. Unfortunately I'm not well read into the ice and fire/GoT thing, and don't know the writing style, only know of the tv series, so I would not be able to translate the nuances into literary form. I would be very happy to read such a tale though. | ||

I don't care about either of those things, though -- I'd be a fan regardless, just because her playstyle is amazing to watch. You watch her games and come away thinking lings are overpowered -- she has the same talent for getting amazing engagements with lings and just crushing pushes that Stephano has with roaches. She's one of those players that's just fun to watch. | ||

I feel like her and Sheth are fairly similar in that respect... their lings just seem like they're worth twice as much as most peoples'. | ||
