This Korean terran that you think is good, just lost in the WCS EU qualifier in a BO3 to a Danish zerg no one has ever heard about...

And there is a very big difference between tournament games and ladder where you just try to improve and come up with strategies.

It's not people, it's just one guy who has decided to crash Stephano's fan-club, thinking that people are just dying to hear his uninformed, cliched and regurgitated opinions. To you, guy: you simply don't understand enough of SC2. Please just move along.

Shuttle lives in the US in NY, that's why he plays on the NA server. I don't think the lag to EU would be that bad. He's just not a very good player, never once even manage to qualify for Code A while he was still living in Korea, and he's been around for a very long time.

Some of you guys are so touchy. I have never said he sucks or anything like that. Just that he hasn't been doing well lately, which is just stating the obvious. Seems like it's more you, who are uninformed and not too bright, since you can conclude all those things from a few posts. But ok, please enlighten me. But I guess that would require for you to discuss something you are uuncomfortable with.
Im pretty sure Stephano himself is the most critical when it comes to his performance or lack of. That is an important thing to realise to improve.

Well, you may think you have some insight into Stephano. But what you're really doing is just dressing up speculation and bullshit.
"Stephano doesn't like to lose."
Well no shit. Tell me, which player likes to lose?
"Stephano could be playing on kr."
USA is a big place. Stephano is currently living in Arizona, in the EG house. You cannot practice on kr with decent ping from there.
"Doesn't like sc2, likes to win."
First point has been repeated in multiple interviews for forever. It is very common that players/sportsmen/humans lose some of the initial intrinsic pleasure/enjoyment of a hobby that becomes a job. Now, instead, Stephano plays because he likes winning in a field where he is extremely talented (speaking about tournaments) and because it earns him a salary. From there you do the "I-have-a-point-to-make"-jump to that he is playing on NA because it is the easiest. You have to work pretty hard to think that connection is obvious.
"Stephano is doing poorly. His play on NA doesn't matter because all NA players suck. Instead look at IEM, the first tournament of HotS, played before the game was officially released, and coming right after Stephano's participation in proleague and code S & Up/Down (up until the day he left for IEM)."
Are you serious? Also, you may remember MVP calling Stephano a top 5 zerg at that event. But let's ignore that, shall we?
"Stephano lied about how much HotS he has played before IEM. Well, maybe. I don't actually know. But what the hell, let's just say he did. Who know's how much HotS Stephano had played before that tournament (probably a lot!) and who knows how little last had played (probably none at all!)? The fact that Stephano was unprepared for reaper-openings really can't tell us anything about how much experience with HotS he had."
Hello, Agenda. Nice to meet you.
"Clearly Stephano has lost his touch and he will never win again. He's not doing good at all. Qualify for code S? Positive record in proleague on the worst team in the league? Shit results and he should feel bad because his 1+ year run of being considered the best foreigner is over."
Maybe he will win, maybe he won't. It's a new game with everything in turmoil for a while and Stephano shined brightest when he was able to upend a relatively stable meta-game and show zergs new ways to play the game (and win tournaments doing it). Will that happen again? Who knows? With the Kespa players entering the field, the competition among the best players has become insanely hard and winning the highest level tournaments is running a gauntlet of matches close to 50/50%. You need luck, not just skill.
"So, there is a context to the results I mentioned. So what? Those are just excuses! Also, Z imba!"

Talk about who is uninformed...
Given that you have only 12 posts and that you made one of your posts a jab at Stephano in his fanclub, I would guess you're someone who was recently banned. Are you TigonRidge still fighting the good fight against us rose-colored goggle wearing fanatical Stephano fanboys? Are you Azarkon (another "huge" fan of Stephano but not of his fanboys who wrote about 50 posts regarding Stephano's pending decline right in the midst of one of the best stretches of any player in 2012)? Whoever you are, I'm predicting you're well on your way to getting banned. If you're going to shit on a player in his fanclub, you better have extremely well articulated reasons for your doom and gloom, which you do not have.

Like I said to start with. Relax, you are all so touchy
And pulling random sentences out of context (many of them are not even mine) and give them your own meaning and elaborating on them is not logic. It is as much speculation than what you speak against. You are as opinionated as I am, and tell me I am the stupid one and don't know SC2.
"Maybe he will win, maybe he won't."
I have just been saying that I think the latter based on my observations and hell break loose.

You guess wrong. I have no idea who the ones you are talking about are. And why should I be banned? I am just voicing my opinion. The only thing wrong with it, is because it is an unpopular one. I have not used harsh language, been rude or calling anyone anything. It has actually been the opposite.

They're not, you just havn't grasped the concept of a fanclub. The whole point of this thread is to follow and celebrate a player, and while discussions about the quality of their play and concerns regarding their future career will arise from time to time, making bold, criticizing predictions of the future based on speculation and conclusion-jumping will, obviously, be met with criticism. You are presenting a bunch of statements about Stephano, basing them on really flimsy evidence, and people are responding as might be expected of, you know, his fans. I find it hard to belive you were expecting otherwise.
Also, like I said before, you are not the first one to predict the end of Stephano's career. Several people have done the same thing before, basing their assessment on about the same things that you have based yours on, followed by him winning tournaments and beating Koreans, as per usual.
OMG sign me up. Cannot stop laughing thanks to Stephano commentating on the NASL coverage of WCS EU... you sir are not only a great player but a legendary personality :D
