I think the larger point he's making is that for someone like MC, for whom it has been mentioned is very nice to almost everyone he meets (I forget which interviewer said this) to call someone out usually means something isn't as simple as it appears. MC claimed in the interview with HotBid that Naniwa was BM to Nestea, MKP, etc. Don't expect all examples of this to be in some place where we as simply fans will see them and know the whole story. I doubt MC just suddenly started acting out of character. Chances are there is a reason. Hell I'm not even saying Naniwa IS BM. I'm just saying, something obviously had to have happened for MC to have such a demeanor.

There is more to this than it seems, but unfortunately most people seem to be either a) not bothered enough by the events to scrutinise it critically or b) so desperate to have a foreigner star to rally around that they turn a blind eye.

Perhaps there did, but it was MC who said those things in an interview for the public to see. He should not have done that if it would've resulted in this twitter shit-fest. I feel like this did not need to go public as we did not see what happened behind the scenes, I only see an MC with terrible PR management and NaNiwa who seems to be remarking on MC's dislike for him. Unless MC wants private things to be seen by the public, then I do not see why this is happening besides bad PR from MC.

Yes i could see there being more behind the scenes stuff that we don't know about. But that's the thing, it's just things we don't know anything about.
But you could also turn this around and say that maybe the people that NaNiwa is claimed to have talked bad about said something about him in the first place. We don't know the story behind all this.
MC is saying him, MKP and HuK being trolled by NaNiwa. We don't know what NaNiwa said but if he said something bm we don't know if that was serious or NaNiwa just joking around.
So it's hard to really judge when you don't know anything about something happening behind the scenes or not.
No matter what happened in private or not it's still unnecessary by MC to start talking about NaNiwa in an interview that had nothing to do with NaNiwa. There was no word about NaNiwa but then MC decided to start talking about him.
He's done it 3 times now in 3 different interviews. NaNiwa has never talked bad about MC in an interview. Even though they are not friends.
Keep private stuff private. It's not professional what MC did. It doesn't matter what anybody say or how much they dislike NaNiwa, what MC did was not professional. Even if NaNiwa has said stuff that MC doesn't like. They should both take that private. (And yes i know NaNiwa has done stuff that isn't professional eihter).

MC is allowed to say whatever he wants about anyone he wants. Just because some people on an internet forum like Naniwa doesn't give them the right to chastise MC like they're his mother and tell him how silly and unprofessional he is acting. If he dislikes someone he has the right to voice it. What gives you the right to comment on him in a public forum about your dislike of his actions, but he isn't allowed to comment on someone who's actions he dislikes in public? Sure, but this series didnt accentuate that, he did like no 2 base timings (or if he did that i didnt catch, just 1 or 2). Also- none of the games were "3 base timings", it was 3 base turtling until he could smash stephanos army with his superior micro.
Bit of a shaky start, but seemed like MC adjusted to Stephano's style over time, beat him pretty convincingly in the last few games. Nice play by the boss toss!
