But MC is still the President, and will always be the President. Even when Protoss Kings fall, and new heirs rise, MC will be there. Still probe-rushing, forcefielding and being a total boss to victory.

I always felt like MC's weaknesses in PvT stem from his choices in strategy rather than him lacking in mechanics. I'd argue that MC's PvZ is still among the best in the world, and if he fixes his PvT, he'll be back up there with Parting and Squirtle. But I agree that right now, MC definitely looks way behind in PvT, and in the GSL, your PvT simply cannot be lacking.

Yeah, MC's PvT is definitely antiquated in some ways, but weirdly seems to be ahead of the curve in others (the probe rush making CC first a huge risk). It also hasn't become so antiquated that it reaches the point of Genius and Squirtle, where it actually works because nobody has played against it in ages.

I feel he either has to go back to his roots (hardcore 6gates etc) or go the new Parting direction, and basically copy Parting's builds and strategies so he can get back on his feet in the matchup.

I still think MC has the best execution of all the protosses, I definitely agree it's his decision-making that's lacking. Whenever I watch PartinG, I always feel like he's ahead before anything has really happened, and whenever I watch MC I always feel like he's behind, and I can never put my finger on why that is.
