I was responding to your remark about 'I don't usually get dressed up for the airport' No, I know, I was trying to be smarmy and sarcastic. Really, we need a sarcasm tag or something around here. No, I agree that idols probably should dress up any time they may be in public and have their picture taken (airport is obvious), but I find it really hard to care if they don't. I generally like their casual stuff anyway, but I'm not the kind of fan to freak out if my bias isn't dressed to the nines every second of the day. Maybe it's just me being lazy 'merican.

http://www.allkpop.com/2012/07/two-more-idol-groups-suspected-of-bullying An interesting article outlining the dynamics of group bullying and newcomers to groups midway through the process. Establishes that this sort of dynamic is common among K-Pop groups. Most interesting quote: Shinhwa‘s secret to maintaining a good relationship for 14 years also lies in their communication skills. Leader Eric had stated, “While promoting, there are times when we get sensitive, which later erupts into fights. There are a lot of instances where we even physically fought each other. There were issues, but we ended it there. We all worked hard to resolve them through communication.” IMO, it's already an intense enough rivalry among people who debut together. When you add members halfway through, especially when the group is already on top, that's pretty much dumping gasoline on a fire. IMO, it's almost never a good idea to add new members to a group unless it's to replace an outgoing one or there's a complete change in concept/look to try to revive an ailing group.

Cute/hot asian girls everywhere, catchy music, tons of drama (got here right when the T-ARA shit storm hit), and the occasional "LOL did you just post that? some internet people are weird..." things. LOVE this thread! :D I think I'll try to stick around as long as I don't get too distracted with irl stuff.

Some other things that haven't been posted here, spoilers are for those of you who don't have diadem accounts: [12.07.31] Core Contents Media trainee's post about T-ara becomes a hot topic: source + Show Spoiler + An article written online by a trainee has been attracting a lot of attention. In the post they wrote, "I'm currently a trainee at GM Media = Core Contents Media = Mnet Media (3 related companies) for the past two years. Seeing the T-ara incident has made me frustrated. After making this post, I decided to quit being a trainee and will disappear." She continued by saying, "Hwayoung made her debut on December 3rd, 2010 and I became a trainee on April 18, 2010. Our company goes to the practice room while we practice to look at our cell phones and wallets. You're screwed for life if you're here. When T-ara had a day off, they visited the studio. Hyomin gathered all the trainees who were preparing for debuts and said we should all introduce ourselves to each other." "I heard someone say that Hot Blooded Kangho was dating Jiyeon. They (Jiyeon/Kangho) asked me my age, where I live, my ID, etc, and I told them. Then I heard Kangho say, 'This bitch hasn't smoked? Idiot. Let's take her to a club tonight.' There was also one time where Jiyeon threw a high-heeled shoe at me. I still have the scar." Bae Youngjong captain revealed, "This place is a public location where any outsider or celebrity can freely walk into so such harassment and beatings would have been impossible to have taken place." T-ara's agency Core Contents Media has said, "The malicious things being written on the Internet and in various articles related to T-ara are written without any verification or confirmation." Core Contents Media terminated Hwayoung's contract yesterday and afterwards, a back-up dancer for T-ara revealed online that "T-ara's Jiyeon slapped Hwayoung in the practice room" and that the girls "don’t want to sit by her in the car so they blatantly play rock, paper, scissors right in front of her face (to decide who sits by her)." Well if anything, I'm sure that if there has been any ongoing bullying in other groups, they will be hesitant to keep it up considering what happened to T-ARA. Plus, now that the issue has been raised, a lot of managers will probably be more cognizant and try to keep it under control. And if worse comes to worse, I'm sure everyone can learn how NOT to handle the pr situation lol

it blew up to this magnitude because of how everything was portrayed... everything has been spun to present 6-ara in the worst possible light and to present hwayoung in the best one. by the time anyone tried to say anything against hwayoung, it was too late. rumors and shit went crazy already and now there are literally too many people supporting hwayoung for anything to be said on 6-ara's side because its the latest netizen fad.

When the first M/V I was unsure, like many other people, whether it was a really expensive parody (the work they put in the M/V was quite impressive) or a really bad real thing going on... And now this horrible teaser (but still with high production value on the M/V) is out... I'm speechless. + Show Spoiler [The original video for those who misse…] +
