Kimi no Iru Machi is quite sad in general. I was following that manga since the very first chap on onemanga :<... Story is good, drawing is decent (i am still confused between characters) but its dragging on too long. Its not that im complaining but it better has a good ending than normal echii+harem mangas...
Hope the story is not ending soon. Its a lot closer to clannad than school days...
Btw, if you are interested, read GE: Good Ending. Its label echii but most of the stuff are about romance, only the cover pages are echii shot
^ Bakuman (Not sure how anime will turn out, but manga has been good) Psychic Detective Yakumo is interesting if you're into supernatural stuff. Yosuga no Sora looks okay (I like the artwork, unsure about plot)
Utena's post is so wrong without proper context xD

I just wanted to add that Yosuga no Sora was originally an eroge. Don't watch it if you're a bit of a prude.
I've started watching Akagi because it was freeleech on bakabt. Weird artwork aside (not that it's bad, just hard to get used to), it's pretty good so far.
As I mentioned before, I feel like Yosuga no Sora was the biggest waste of potential in several years. The setting, the environment it sketched out, was extremely good. But the character relationship/development between the twins was really, really a cop-out and a let-down, and given that that was central to the story it was kinda stupid. A re-hash of other stories, if you will, which is a waste given everything that was laid out before them.

Yea I heard it was from an eroge. I don't really mind though; there have been worse eroge-to-anime series made. And do you mean Akagi as in the MJ anime (I don't think there are any others with the same name)? I thought it was pretty good too, and the artwork is...well, different.

Not sure how to approach this, but I thought it was alright plot-wise at least for the first episode given my limited anime-watching experience. Is it different in the actual game (if you've played it)? What do you mean by the development being a let-down? Were you expecting something else? (Not trying to be facetious, just curious). Maybe I just have low/weird standards or something for the anime that I watch.
If you're willing to read spoilers (Ecael and I argued about this a while ago hahah) + Show Spoiler +
As I mentioned, I loved the setting and the environment, as well as the premise. The move "back home" to a backwater place from Tokyo, no matter how often it's done, can always be done with a twist, and this one was nice... because of the whole twins element. And make no mistake the main point of the game was the relationship between the twins.
However, because of certain things they did "badly," such as her originally being heavily hospitalized et cetera, instead of being a story about twins it becomes a very, very standard little sister story. Which leads to one cliche after another and just ends with a bad aftertaste. Because it's nothing more than a let-down and a waste of a splendid premise and great build-up. Which is a shame because so much of the rest of the story was written well, such as his re-acclimation, et cetera. Hence, I felt like it was the most rage-inducing VN in years, because it wasn't terrible, nor was it good, it was just tantalizing for the first half, and then flat-out annoying afterwards. Incidentally it doesn't end anything like School Days, at least the ending the anime picked.

For Akagi, it really does get better, then sort of slows down. It can be confusing though if you don't understand Mahjong. Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji is another anime by the same author which is sort of like Akagi in the gamble/life/death department, but it sort of is an acquired taste type of show.
Finally got around to finishing Tatami Galaxy. I got really bored with the plot (or the seeming lack thereof) in the middle of the series, but I have to say, the final two episodes were beautifully done. Those two episodes made watching the whole thing worth it, imo.
The play in Akagi is pretty damn deep. I'm liking this.
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Opening 5: "Road to Tomorrow ~Going My Way!!~" by Masaaki Endoh
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Ending 5: "Future Colors" by Plastic Tree
Wow, song-wise, I prefer Believe in Nexus (Fourth Opening), but animation-wise, this opening blows all the other YGO openings out of the water. Last part of the opening was just ****ing amazing.
Thoughts on the Ending: YuseixAki shippers win!
But yeah, with 154 rumored to be the last episode of 5D's, this could potentially be the last opening of the series. With that, I can say I'd be satisfied with this opening as being the last. This opening would work with the "Last opening is the best" pattern YGO has going on.
Just finished watching UBW, even though i've only watched the anime series before but man the pacing was so quick to understand wtf is going on it makes my heads spin, jumping right into action immediately one after another, pretty decent movie i guess awesome action, and of course, we get dolphins instead of real sex, greatest trolling ever to them peeps that was expecting something H rofl. + Show Spoiler +
too freaking bad that Ilya got killed so brutally that early in the story, was expecting Beserker to put up abit mroe of a fight also.
just have some quick question about the plot lines of UBW. + Show Spoiler +
How the hell did Archer came back from the dead after being killed by Gilgamesh at the end there?

Edit: Anyone know when Index and TWGOK air?
I love Akagi. Check out Kaiji too, same art style (because it's the exact same anime production staff and author) and similar themes.
Index airs in 2 days. Have some evidence Funi might simulcast it but it's sort of 50/50 at this point. gg is subbing it, though.
TWGOK airs in about 4 hours and will be out in 5 since it's on Crunchyroll.
IIRC he was talking about turning Emiya into the Grail? Also I think Archer "got killed" but I don't think he dissipated like you usually do (the purple dust). Might just have forgotten, though.

I haven't read Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, only some brief and somewhat confusing summaries, but I think it's the 8th Servant, Avenger.
