Anyone else though the ending of HolyLand was left kinda weak? + Show Spoiler +
I mean the battle with King was pretty good but the final fight with his Girl Friend brother was kinda....okay too but I guess I wanted a more blown away ending but I guess I expected too much. Sad to see a really good series ending
My Kugimiya Rie senses were tingling the whole time. I hope we actually see more of the characters introduced, since it seems the elves from the beginning were dropped from the picture. Luckily, the washed-up girl is still around.

apparently in the book it was like 1v3 and marieda throws herself out of the cockpit during a firefight firefight that ends up sinking the ship so the 3 (well, 2 + unconscious) were high-tailing it asap

I've just started watching darker than black and absolutely loving it! I had a look through this thread for similar stuff, but due to my inexperience I have no idea where to start. Anybody have any suggestions of what else to try?

Waiting is the name of the game with this series... So far it hasn't disappointed once.
Holy fucking shit, I just finished the Ever17 true ending(Coco route) and it was INCREDIBLE. Had to play through 4 not so great routes to get there but im glad I stuck it out. The way everything came together and explained all the on going mystery was just superb. Also I could have not asked for better closure, it was just perfect. I was surged with such satisfaction, it was amazing, I could barely contain myself.
What made the true ending so good was the set up.Every other play-through/route works to lead to the true end. They took all the endings of the other routes and intertwined it into an orgy of awesome. I had a plethora of questions playing through the prior 4 routes, but they all got answered eventually. The art felt at times inconsistent but it doesn't really detract from the experience too much. The soundtrack was well done I felt like, didn't enjoy it as much as the Key tracks but it did its job to set the mood. The intricacy of the plot was so good it blew my mind many a times.
On another note Blick Winkel you're a freakin hero. And Kurabaki Ryogo, you were so vital to the plan working out, Thank you.
TL;DR: Ever17 is a pretty good game, you should read it.
