The scene near the end, at the baseball field. Just...
I have never cried for a VN except for Clannad, before this.

I don't know that I'd call him evil during Fate/Zero. He's just a megalomaniac who's very honest with himself. He has been summoned to fight, but he considers the Grail War nothing more than a vulgar, primal gladiatorial match, one in which the true King of Kings is totally out of place. So he does what you would expect from someone who considers him above such pithy combat: he sits atop the Colosseum, looking down on the pitiful fighters, deriving pleasure from watching their combat and savoring their backstories. Ultimately he has no doubt whatsoever that he will reign supreme, emerging victorious with that which already belongs to him anyways. + Show Spoiler [on his fate] +
Which we know to be a fairly correct assessment. As a full servant in F/Z he is never felled in combat; arguably he's going to defeat Saber (or rather, Saber cannot defeat Gilgamesh, as we know from F/SN), except he's stymied by Kiritsugu defeating Kirei and then the Grail being destroyed. In F/SN he's only defeated because in order of 1+2) he's accidentally hard-countered via sheer luck and 3) he just gets owned by the Grail. Not having a consistent source of prana due to being a standalone servant didn't help his case in 1 and 2.
Part of the allure of F/Z is his fascination with Kirei, one that the reader(viewer) also begins to share. Such that the protagonist of F/Z is arguably Kirei, not Kiritsugu, despite how it may look initially.
Ok yes I am wrong, Gilgamesh is just confused, and mentally confused thinking he owns everything in the world, but he does respect iskander and he is okay I guess, and yes Caster is evil and how do they let him eat children on the anime I thought it was illegal to kill children like that over anime? I can't wait till lancer impales him and also anyone have ANY anime from 2012 11 or 10, or old ones you think I should check out ( but sorry for not including caster in being evil, and Kerei some of you may think isn't but he scares me none the less.
Once again I teared up a little at this episode: when Chihaya found her own clipbook. That part was so touching. I was almost fooled for a second that they would just let the dad be the typical "I only look at one child" character.
Character development in this series is just so amazing. They mostly focused on Taichi, Empress, Kana-chan, and Retro-kun this episode. And I gotta say, there is still not ONE character in this series that I do not dislike. No matter how bad they may portray them to be in the beginning at the end they give you their side of the story and you suddenly develop a soft spot for them. I found Tsundere Retro-kun to be particularly cute xD
Also, Taichi is prolly the only anime guy I would go gay for. Yes homo. Im surprised Chihaya could resist his charm and handsomeness for this long.

Except he did own everything that can be traced back to that time, and theoretically since he wielded the power to rule the world, he owned everything except immortality. Hell, he whooped gods. He owned the original blade for Caliburn and Excalibur, most of the noble phantasms you see wielded by other people fly out of his Gate of Babylon (at least in a primitive form), his primary weapon comes from like space or something, etc. etc. It's certainly not out of the question that he would have owned the Grail, and given its historic roots, rather likely.

Kud? I LOVE KUD!!!
Note: I didnt actually play LB myself, just watched a guy stream it and the only character I found remotely cute was Kud, dawwwwwwwwwww.
For those of you concerned, it doesn't look like this guy has read the Fate/Zero LN either, so he hasn't actually spoiled anything that hasn't been aired yet. But he has been spoiling things that have already happened like crazy lol

He's made me read up more on Gilgamesh, which ended up making me spoil F/Z myself. /raaaaage!! But yeah, the stuff he said sounded more like speculation anyways, except for the shit that's happened already.
