We need a different word for that.
yea and then stays Hot ? hardly. You can be belligerently tsun like zero and bounce around or even Taiga for that matter or you can be pessimistic/skeptical tsun like Kagami . Sure theres transitions in both directions in terms of how often which aspect is expressed more at different stages but it never really transitions to any end its always back and forth with different weight associated.
rarely is it ever resolved to the point where it transitions to something and stays there.

The yandere guide: http://www.cavestory.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2831
Tsun vs Yan vs Kuu, I think I will play safe with the kuudere, followed closely by the tsundere... yanderes can be quite creepy and might be a danger to my life: also gets into the way of any possible formation of a harem...

So, your logic is, "it rarely happens, therefore we redefine it"?
Alright.

lolcommie
They should just stick to stealing official scripts and _not_ editing them. Most of the time, they only end up introducing errors.

The definition of tsundere has changed quite a bit over the years, nowadays it is definitely more used to describe the biopolar kind rather than a gradual warming up to someone else.

Ugh, so complicated with Tsundere, Yandere, and Kuudere. You people are messing up my mind. @_@
Anyways, time to read Mirai Nikki.

All three (yandere, tsundere, kuudere) are nice~

Ok, about Guilty Crown:
Is it true that Guilty Crown didn't live up to expectations? It depends on what your expectations were. There were some people in this thread hyping it up like crazy. If your expectations were based on that hype, then it probably didn't live up to expectations. If you were expecting Guilty Crown to be really unique, then it probably didn't live up to expectations. After all, Guilty Crown thus far is Code Geass with Lulouch replaced with Amuro (which IMO is a huge plus lol). My main expectation of GC is that it will be better than Geass R2. And so far, so good. The mechs are cool enough, I like the design of who seem to be the 2 main girls, and setting itself is enough to keep me interested/watching. Honestly its foolish to go into any anime expecting a masterpiece, so people who got burned by the hype can only blame themselves.
Also, I disagree with the idea that if something isn't unique, or if something is generic, that its bad. "Generic" means average, thats kinda like the definition, right? Average isn't bad, it isn't good. If the MC is generic, so what. Its like if a character isn't something we haven't seen before (very very rare), or a yandere, or insane, then people just brush them off as bad characters. Even yandere and insane characters are predictable/done before as well, at this point.
P.S: Ecael, just because a show has mecha, doesn't mean I'm going to like it and drool over it. See Evangelion, Code Geass R2, Gundam SEED Destiny, Eureka 7, or Gravion.

I didn't have high expectations before the hype here but it didn't really live up to that hype, not that it turned out to be bad as in Horizon bad. I will keep watching it weekly along with Fate/Zero and it's still probably one of the better series this season.
I've crown* accustomed with MC being a generic school boy in mecha animes by now so that doesn't really bother me anymore.
*epic honest typo that I'm not going to fix

could we please stop comparing gc and cg? they maybe similar on the surface and i admit that i only put in on my watchlist because it sounded like cg, but while that one may have had its flaws (especially r2) im quite fond of it as a whole (the ending satisfied me very much, and i dont care what side you are on, for me its like inception, choose your preference).
gc tries too hard to be intellectual imo, and really it would be better if i had not to listen to the crappy mcs thoughts, you know, a tear or two while cowering would really suffice to grasp his basic feelings without having to spell it out (QQi have no spine AND no dick, oh wait there it is but sooo small ~~) well animation/plot/sidecharacters give the show enough potential to watch it further, but cg is out of its reach atm.

I basically agree with this.

Hey, is another here familiar with Nyanners?

I watched this GC out of curiosity and I must say... Sentenal I don't think you're justified in comparing this GC boy to Amuro. Gundam E1 showed that Amuro is smart, resourceful, proactive, and doesn't give a fuck about evacuation orders, hiding in shelters, or military regulations. GC E1 showed that Shu is awkward, cowardly, and reacts first to a strange girl getting arrested in front of him by telling himself "I wanted to touch her."
On another note I finished 08th MS Team and it was quite good. My only criticisms were the spontaneity of Shiro and Aina's romance, and the relative disconnectedness of E12 (which on its own was rather cute.) Both understandable, since the show was not a romance, and was originally 11 episodes. The fights were basically all great, especially the final one against Norris ("This one's an Ace!"). The characters were also effective, and the war situations generally well written.

Amuro was a little bitch for like 25 episodes of Gundam, and then he was a little bitch again when he showed up in Zeta. I mean, Amuro got salty that Bright slapped him, and that he had to fight, stole the Gundam to run around the desert in an Emo adventure, single handedly made the Battle of Odessa even harder for the Federation, and then expected the White Base to welcome him back with open arms? The dude in GC is an Amuro. Amuro invented an character archetype that TONS of anime MC fall into. Even Shinji in Evangelion is based on Amuro.
