Thanks
While i was checking user ratings for these newest animes, i noticed that Persona 4 The Animation has great reviews, would you recomend it?
Need some Mirai Nikki up in dat bitzz.
uhh Mirai Nikki for a casual watcher is dangerous territory. Theres a tad bit to much crazy all over the place (not just the Yandere although shes uno).
Pshhhh. When I first got into anime guess what anime I watched?
The one anime where you thought it would be all cutesy girls and a nice boy, like exactly what you would find in Mashiro-iro Symphony....
I watched that anime--marathoned it even. And halfway through the series I already knew what was gonna happen, deep down inside I KNEW that shit would go down. But I couldnt stop--no no, I HAD to finish it.
Well needless to say my cherry got popped quite unexpectedly...
You expect something like Oreimo or Otoshimono or Motto To Love-ru. And you get THAT instead, my mind is still blown from what I saw.

Like I said earlier last page, it looks average. The opinions aren't swinging as much as you think it is. All the "hate" came after more people have watched, especially once people actually talked about it and thought a bit past animation and music.
The most negative ones were me and Spazer tbh, and both of us basically said that it was around average and disappointing in that it was only average. That and the prospects look bad because it is average.
EDIT - and Ferrose got keikaku'd by Sent, real hilarity.
Oh and Sent's opinions don't count, anything with something remotely close to mecha and he chases after it drooling
Does that mean CG R2 had like...no mecha? Because I'm sure Sent hated that shit.

Agreed. Never thought I'd fall for a yandere.....and here I am. O_O
Exactly. The only reason I'm watching Mirai Nikki is because of her and her facial expression at the end of the episode. You could also try out Un-Go to see if it fits your taste.

So you're saying we rec School days because of kotonoha?

I was trying to say that some of you would rec School Days to anybody that comes in here asking for recs, but not Mirai Nikki even though both of them are like hardcore or something along those lines.

Im a bit curious to see what happens to the people he extracts the weapons from, side effects etc. Also it did seem like the pilots remote controlling the mechs suffered damage, I dont imagine it would be fatal either but it should be interesting to see how certain forms of damage that may not affect the mechs abilities could hurt the pilot more and make it less useful.
The scientists obviously knows what they are dealing with: as if the test tube thing is leaked out on purpose for experiments.
Just like other "bond of hearts" powered weapons, the strength is potentially unlimited but some point down the road we will see the prota lose control/have power weakened as his resolve wobbles.
Did you read the manga already or something? iirc that started running earlier
Nope, just from observation: the scientists know of the content of the capsule (a secret even the commander person cannot access - often implies a "3rd faction" - evil mastermind) and logical guess from popular anime trends.
@guilty clown: A lot of people compare it with Code Geass, and I understand why: japanese resistance group, girl who grants guy power, the Power of Kings, mechs...
Yet overtime I believe the shows will start to walk down their own paths: Shuu is not Lelouch, he has a lot more headroom for character growth. Inori can potentially be a lot more involved into the whole conflict than CC. Ofc, the character interaction and relationship growth between Shuu and Inori will likely suppress most early-stage relationship development in Code Geass.
I honestly do not see Shuu being a Lelouch, a strong leader to the resistance force and conducting the whole rebellion like a game of chess.
Another comparison is Shuu to Kira Yamoto of Seed. Both wield a unique power, and may be "stuck" in period of angst: but Shuu already have the "will" to fight and the determination to change. Kira spent the entire series wondering if it is right to kill.
@Mirai Nikki It was out of pure coincidence that I finished the manga several months ago and someone released info about an anime adaptation. While the anime quality may be lacking when compared to GC/Fero, I think the animators did a very good job on Gasai Yuno (imo, the sole reason to watch the show). Her yandere mode in the anime leaves a much much greater impression on me than what I have experienced in the manga. The nature of source material might not make MN as big of a hit as School Days (which tbh, is pretty weak on the yandere meter in the anime: Yuno is yandere for the entire series: she is the QUEEN of yandere while Kotonoha/Sakai are on the slave levels).
As the manga is still fresh in my mind I will most likely watch the show later, giving priorities to FateZero, Guilty Crown, and even Shana. I will most likely watch this some time down the road when I want my fair share of Gasai Yuno (and tbh: I hate Yuki's character growth).
