You should probably try watching Detectives These Days Are Crazy!
A guilty pleasure for me this season, but I'm a fan of the absurd.
Uglymug didn't really do it for me. Maybe it's the fatigue after all the "I'm OP but trying to hide it" animes but Uglymug just feels super generic. There aren't really any stakes, the humor is very hit and miss and it can't rely on some epic animation or something like that to prop it up like Solo Leveling or actually interesting background lore and stuff of Eminence in Shadow.
I'm watching Detectives as well. Anything that reminds me slightly of Gintama I try to give it an honest try. Detectives reminds me of that a bit with the characters.
Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku: cute romantic story. if i want to chill i watch a chapter. Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 4: tried to watch the 1st episode... i guess i lost all my interest in this series...
Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra: the story looks interesting and the last chapter was a surprisingly dark... i will keep watching
i read bad reviews about Sakamoto season 1, should i watch it? is season 2 an improvement?

Shield Hero I dropped around season 3, don't think I even finished it. In the beginning it was somewhat interesting, later on it's just dragging on forever, the characters and plot lines are not that great to the point where I can't really tell you what happened there. They hatched some dragon or something? Or was it another anime entirely?
Sakamoto I can't help you with. Not really interested in the series. I like absurd comedy but I guess not that kind.

Season2 is a big improvement, eventhough I really enjoyed season1 this season is another level
I'm kinda torn on it. Seems very hit and miss. On one hand there are some interesting plots and it looks nice but on the other the pacing, time skips and character juggling feel really weird, like it's missing some glue that would keep it together so the overall experience seems very disjointed. The show keeps skipping between different points in time with just a simple "year x after y" line at the start, it would probably be more helpful if there were some visual differences (changing landmarks or something) that would help the viewer associate the event with their place on the timeline. It's also pretty jarring to have 3 episodes focusing on a character, getting invested and then being dropped into a series of episodes about someone else, basically restarting everything (feels like watching 3 first episodes of a show, then 3 first episodes of another one in the same universe and so on).
TBH X is a good anime. It's kinda like an anthology of the top heroes and how they will all interact. The latest episode brought a lot together. I think the story is...convoluted a bit but it isn't bad when it jumps around because they bring it together down the road.

They do kinda bring it together but it's still pretty jarring to see 3 episodes, end up on a massive cliffhanger and then jump into something completely different right after. We're on episode 19(?) now and I still want to know what happened at the end of episode 3... I kinda want to know this even more than what's currently happening in the show.
That's where it irks me. And the fact that they're relying pretty heavily on our suspension of disbelief because they present people as smart but then want us to just trust that while showing them do pretty dumb things all the time...

No, I agree wiht you. I'm still waiting as well because that was a wtf ass moment for sure lmao. I just remember Moon getting kidnapped and off-screened(?) and then it was on to something else lol. So I'm hopingn in the next 4-5 episodes we get some answers.
Started watching The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity yesterday and I must say I'm blown away by the quality of this anime. When it comes to the story and plot it's not anything special, mostly generic HS romance with established tropes (delinquent boy from public school and a posh girl from high class school) but on a technical level it's actually mind blowing. I'm willing to admit that the combination of beautiful art and animation paired with great and fitting music made my eyes water a few times.
It's a really well made show, some shots there are just astounding and they go the extra mile even for simpler stuff which adds so much artistic value. I can easily recommend it to anyone. Even if you're not much interested in the subject material it's worth watching just for the gorgeous visuals and music to remind yourself what anime could be but where most fall short.

its not often that I find something that is not just visually stunning but also like every character I see. Its very rare that I would even watch the anime of a manga I was already reading.
Is anyone here familiar with Chinese web comics? The animation here looks amazing, I'm wondering if plot will be any good but I do love me some sci-fi horror mystery.
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity: pretty good anime overall. i enjoyed it very much and the animation / art was high quality. 8/10
The Summer Hikaru Died: also very good. some chapters felt slow but the story was interesting. i want to know more about the guy hired by the town but i guess we will find out the next season. 7/10
dropped: Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra
i will wait more episodes before starting Gachiakuta. Also, next season looks great! - One Punch Man 3 - My hero academia
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity: I really enjoyed that. Reminds me a bit of Horimiya and I'm always there to support romance anime that doesn't drag itself out forever with all the stupid misunderstandings that can be solved with a simple conversation and people being honest about their feelings. Really refreshing to see a heartwarming and coherent story and them showing that you can do romance from a to z in a single season. Beautiful art and animation is just a cherry on top. 9/10
My Dress-Up Darling: The show keeps the quality but it begins to drag a bit at this point (see the point made above). 8/10
Clevatess: This had a rather rough start (first 3 episodes were painful to watch) but I got kinda immersed in the world and it's OK. Could definitely use a bit more work in the animation department though. It got another season so I'll give it a gander because I'm interested in the world they've built. 7/10
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting Magic: First seasons was really good. This season was rather lackluster and I hate the final fight was such an anime trope of them mostly talking for 3 episodes straight. 6/10
Solo Camping for Two: At first I was intrigued because I like to see where they're going when they're doing a romance between actual adults instead of highschoolers. Sadly, the art and animation isn't there and there isn't that much of a story to prop it up enough. Sprinkle in a healthy dose of outdoorsman/camping info dumps (which were interesting in the beginning but later on are just annoying) and food porn and you got yourself a nothing show. 4/10
To Be Hero X: The show had potential. Unfortunately the disjointed timeline, doing background stories on bazillion characters across multiple timelines and keeping up the "mystery" of what's actually going on makes it hard to watch and follow. We get story points cut at some pivotal moments and then they don't even address all of them by the end. 6/10
Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!: Typical slop of "op dude trained by ancient master doesn't realize he's the strongest". 3/10
