The whole Dorne experience in the show is a huge letdown and shouldn't be in the show when they execute it like that. Cmon D&D you are better than that, surely!

Since when that neckle makes melissandre old? i can swear i've seen her without it or without anything before I don't get something, why would the king of dorne have guards if they all stay frozen when someone kills their king? were they were all bribed? wtf is this, I don't remember a moment in which they made us realize that the guards were bribed or the people of dorne hated their king.... or maybe I just don't remeber... But it feels like bullshit writing to be honest

well the point of that scene was that the prince was so disconnected with his people that he failed to realize even his guards detested him and would watch him die. but yea it hasn't been developed enough at all to make us know that apart from her saying it out loud. all they did in Dorne was show the stupid sand snakes snaking about

Why does that mean they can teleport?

Only thing that bothered me this episode was the big black guard guy with the spear (I guess his name is Hotah) being killed with a single small stab in the back. Like seriously... He totally had the badass warrior vibe going on and I was hoping to see more of him in action. Did not in any way see that Melisandre ending coming, how old is she then... She's definitely hiding stuff, not that we didn't alrdy hugely suspect that. They totally trolled us too I feel like, "hey here's a random undressing so you guys can check her out again, WHOOPS OLD LADY TITS, so sorry guys"
I enjoyed this episode, maybe because I can finally fill my GoT addiction again. But I felt like this was an awesome episode to get us back on track of where things are.

The best thing about watching game of thrones after it airs is that I can skip all of the scenes that I think have shit plot lines.
Today I Watched 8 minutes.

I feel at this point I'm only watching GoT because it's the big cultural phenomenon and I have to keep up with pop culture, not because it's particularly well written. That and being this committed to a series with two novels and seasons left, so why not see it come to a close.

Didn't need to see the end of that ep
lift off into crash landing in my trousers -. -
Also loved Trystane getting a spear through his head. haha, fuck love!

The sandsnakes are so cringeworthy and bad. Please, no more sandsnakes!

Lol so many complainers, then don't watch.
I liked the episode overall, might do re-watch later for the conversations. Really curious what will happen in the wall.
edited: okay, i watched that scene again and yes he was on the boat
the most plausible is they followed the boat, and sneaked in to it , Not a big deal for me tho.

I can´t speak for anyone but myself, but I suspect more agree with me on this: Its a fantastic show, but it used to be better than it is right now. Some of the plot lines, dialogue, and acting for that matter, is simply subpar for such a big and awesome show. Most of it is still great though.

Damn, this whole Dorne storyline has more holes in it than some Swiss cheese, someone should nuke that place and be done with it.
Last season we had the Sand Snakes act all sneaky, because they couldn't rebel openly. Suddenly all the guardsmen are on their side? Dorne doesn't even feel like a real place right now - we never saw anyone being unhappy with Doran and now the guards are like "oh, our leader is being assassinated? Cool". Killing his brother and nephew of course is great fucking way to avenge Oberyn. What did D&D even think there? The Sand Snakes suddenly teleporting onto Trystanes ship is the smallest hole there...
That said: I'm pumped to see more Davos action!

I don't get the teleporter complaint. Tristane was on a ship somewhere, and they got him. But that ship wasn't the one that transported the Lannisters.. edit: did he set sail out to somewhere that I forgot?

I watched it again, but they showed the ship anchored near King's Landing, Same with the coast/cliff when Jamie arrived, so it is implied that he is in the same boat.
Regarding the guards rebelling, I think it makes sense not showing it so it would be a surprise to the viewers. Sandsnakes existence on the other hand is not necessary , their roles could have been replaced just by normal guards or assasins.

Now that is just a terrible argument. Being a surprise doesn't mean it is allowed to make absolutely no sense within the story. There have been plenty of big surprises in GoT where you are shocked at first, but then go: "yea I can see that happen" or "I suppose there were some clues hinting to that" but just throwing something like this at the viewers out of the blue is plain bad writing. A ruler that loses the respect of every single one of his people (or at least all of his guards) except the big black guy with the axe and NOONE close to him notices anything? The captain of the guards doesn't hear a word about mutiny? Sorry, that just doesn't happen.

I don't know.. I don't think giving dorne guards etc. a couple minutes of screen time just for that would give away the plot already, knowing how things work in GoT. it would be very predictable. I'm not saying that scene was great or anything.
