Sulli's drama? Havent watched it but afaik she pretends to be a guy and roommates with the guy she likes oh no no no i've seen a glimpse of that .. and i don't really like the pretend as gay thing Cunning Single Lady, seems to be not what i'm looking for. Just the "the main romantic pair are about the male character and his friend/best friends sister" or if there's really no theme with that then just the "main romantic pair are roommates" or they just live together that works too.

More focus on the romance and comedy aspect less on drama as much as possible. The only one I remember right now, and it's so good I would recommend it in a genereal "Which drama to watch?" question is 9 End 2 Outs with Soo Ae and Lee Jung-jin.

http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Personal_Preference http://wiki.d-addicts.com/The_Lover One important note : dont rely too much about wikis (and other sites too) synopsis. They often give you the info what will happen in first couple episodes or maybe halfway but leave out the second half. It is especially true for long dramas 30eps+.

In PP, i dont remember, but the "im gay" theme wasnt very prevalent. I think it was mentioned couple times and nothing more.

I didn't really like it On November 27 2015 22:30 EmKey wrote: Ive seen 200+ kdramas and the theme with roomates/lovers is almost nonexistant b/c of cultural differences. In korea it is extremly rare for non married couples to live together up until very recently b/c Koreans are heavily Confucius-indoctrinated society. I can think of two dramas : The Lover and Personal Preference. I dont remember PP too well so im not sure if this is what youre looking for but the lover seems to match what you looking for. http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Personal_Preference http://wiki.d-addicts.com/The_Lover One important note : dont rely too much about wikis (and other sites too) synopsis. The Lover seems to be what i'm looking for, i forgot to mention that i would've preferred if the romantic pair does not have a romantic history (like they are strangers or acquaintance or even long time friends works too as long as they were strictly friends before) Anyways currently i'm watching The Vineyard Man (which is the same as i'm looking for except they are in rural setting but whatever i already started) and i'm planning to watch Marriage Not Dating . Not what i'm looking for but i stumbled upon it and it seems really interesting and i find the female lead is really pretty so it's a plus lol. So after those two (unless i learn that Marriage Not Dating is not good) then i'm deciding whether to watch We Broke Up or The Lover( can't do both too much time ) afterwards. anyways ty

Kill me Heal me - the main lead has multiple personalities disorder and the girl (psychiatrist) moves in with him to treat him. But its not a man/woman romanticaly cohabiting more like patient/doctor relationship. So you wont find any funny man/woman relationship quirks or moments despite them being romatically involved (or at least with 1 or 2 of his personalities). I think they lived together for maybe 4-7 episodes out of 20 so definitely not a main theme of the drama. Its ok thats love - dunno what to say about this one. i think it fits your criteria. They are eventually romanticaly involved (despite her hating him in the beginning) and they live together ( there are also 2 other guys living in the house). Also strong "shrink/patient as lovers" theme.

I found Marriage not Dating along with The Vineyard Man which i'm watching right now from reddit. edit: I forgot that every episode is an hour for korean series even for comedy heavy ones lol. I'm used to watching sitcoms and anime end in like 20 minutes.

And Final Match is there as well with 2 seeds. I dont think these old dramas have been released on DVD so LQ or MQ 300mb files is the best you can get.

So since Marriage not Dating was the next one on my list, i ended up watching it instead of the kdrama's that has the "living together" i was looking for. On November 28 2015 00:29 McRatyn wrote: Marriage not Dating is a fucking gem, don't know how it fits your current criteria but still, WATCH IT! :D It is indeed a "fucking gem". I gotta say i'm glad i watched this though i haven't watched alot of kdrama's but this is one i've enjoyed the most. So literally the best kdrama i've seen so far. The characters are likable, the main romantic pair has some kind of magic between them. It has enough drama to keep me on my toes and a good dose of comedy+lightheartedness to lessen the tension of the drama and cringe. + Show Spoiler [Marriage not Dating ending] + It was really nice that they kept the idea that the couples started from messy start so it ended in a messy way (of course it's heartwarming and funny lol). From a messy introduction between characters to the messy ending between the main couple. Consistent lol The pacing was good it never felt like there were parts are too dragged out. It has the best mix of serious and lighthearted scene's from all the kdrama's i've seen. Overall incredibly enjoyable, how they approached the end of the show was well-thought out and interesting imo. Another thing to note is that in every start of the episode they show like a clip of what will happen later and those are really damn well cut, they completely mislead you and make you assume something and a totally different scene happens from the same scene you saw from the start lol idk so 9/10 i guess but i don't think i can rewatch this one though. Part of it's value i guess is the surprises. I've tried 9 outs and 2 innings abit but i remembered already starting the first episode like months before (not sure if it was recommended in this thread or i found it somewhere), i think i stopped watching cause i didn't find the leading actress attractive (dunno why but this is kinda a big factor to me when watching kdrama's) and her character isn't helping cause i don't find her likable. Not sure if i'm gonna continue to watch that. I'm done for the moment i don't i can watch another kdrama immediately( honestly too exhausting for me to watch always has been even back then) but later once i start watching again i'm considering The Lover or We Broke Up, i'm also open for other suggestions.

I finished Producer and i loved it. I didnt even read wiki synopsis, all i knew was who were the leads. I didnt really know what to expect, so my expectations werent very high. First 5 or so episodes were hilarious - so much parodying of the whole korean entertainment industry, media, idols, variety shows. Countless cameos throughout the series. So many funny characters - my favourite was Da Jung, the girl who knew which celebrities date with who (altough her padding was kinda over the top considering how skinny her legs are). IU and BSC's mom encounter by the dumpster was freaking hilarious - the whole "omg shes so perfect".
