I'm watching lie to me atm . My friend said it gets weaker later on (she must have meant the sequel not sure ) but does it really get weaker later on ?

not sure if should be asking this though .. it could ruin my viewing experience but w/e

I have previously experienced this in more than several dramas. I think its b/c the drama stops evolving at some point and it fixates on some part of the plot without introducing anything new. So it gets boring really fast. I dont remember if that was the case with Lie to me.

Ah nice cause i'm enjoying it quite a bit. I like the female lead she's independent, a bit eccentric, somewhat selfish and she's not stuck up(like being stupid for other people) with other people.

alright i'll keep watching then , hopefully my friend is wrong and i'd also have similar experience as you with this

Dramabeans which is my source of opinions on dramas if I don't know them myself says it's pretty bad.
Also I've seen Kang Ji-hwan in "Big Man" and just so-so. Ofc this does not matter one bit if you are liking it! :D

Onto other things:
Today I've seen an episode of "Sugar Man" and they sang Park Yong-ha's "Like the first day" (

) from "All-in" OST and it made me remember how I love that jazzy-latin-pop-rock-sometimes-ballad mix that was trendy in early 2000s soundtracks.

"My 19 year old Sister in Law" -

And something slower:
"Sang Doo, Let's Go to School" -

"My Girl" -

[this one has a couple of versions, the opera-like is also cool]

I know its cliche but different people like different things , it applies to kdramas as well. Historically speaking ive liked kdramas that werent well received and vice versa i disliked some popular ones. So for me "majority vote" was never an indicator whether i will like the drama or not. I guess the best bet would be to ask about specific things you expect from kdramas on forums, for instance : is there an idol in it, whats the music like, what makjang characteristic does it have, etc.

Whats with recent influx of webdramas with subs starring at least one idol? Not that i complain, but there has been like ten of them in the last month or so.

I'm still at ep 7 but it kinda feels weaker and weaker. Different from when i watched Marriage not Dating where it just got more interesting the longer the + Show Spoiler +

fake marriage got compared to lie to me dunno

. Though i'll keep watching until i lose interest.

So i gave fated to love you a shot. The cast are adorable lol but my question is that is the Taiwanese version better or the Korean one ?

I liked "Fated..."_KR a lot but only saw snippets of the TW version, to check if there were any scenes that were almost the same, and there were but I did't really follow it through.
There's one more TW drama that was remade last year originally having the same main actor as "Fated...", in Korea it's called "Witch's Romance" with Park Seo-joon and Uhm Jung-hwa, TW version is called "My Queen" d/k how close they are in execution (only saw KR, pretty great in my book).

My friend told me i would like the Korean version more cause it's less the male lead is less swaggy annoying type in korean than in taiwanese, so korean it is !

it's really hard to belive this "i am ugly" monologue by the female lead when she's actually pretty lol

Just watched "Lily fever" whacky softcore-lesbian webdrama with main character being a 4-D k-pop trainee. Very random but funny dialogues made it really refreshing experience. Definitely in my top10 dramas despite being way too short.

Hey hey, wondering if anyone has an alternative source for english subs .srt files? I have gotten them for the longest time from @ADS_Eunji on twitter, but he/she has been rather inactive as of late. Currently folloiwng Reply 1988 and Cheese in the Trap, both of which I am enjoying!

subscene.com for nearly all subtitles in English.

I checked excerpts from new drama with Yoo In Na and Jang Nara "Once Again Happy Ending". I never thought im going to say it but wow Yoo In Na looks horrible in it (at least the first two eps). I dont know if her looks is relevant to the plot but if not the person responsible for her looks should be beaten to a pulp and converted back into people and also banned from the industry.

I just watched the first ep of that... I was hoping it was good but had terrible expectations because of the promotion videos but I am glad to say that (atleast the pilot) was really fun.
