any recommandations for waht to watch next?
If you just look at the recent posts, you can see what we've all been enjoying
For starters, Reply 1997, Pinocchio, Oh My Ghostess, and 20 Again would get quick thumbs up from me.
A Gentleman's Dignity was good too, but I felt like it dragged a bit midway through.... Reply 1994 also very good.

You have to tell us what you like and what you dont like. Naming your favourite actors/actresses may also help. Historical, horror, romance, fantasy elements, romance, school, medical, etc. You have to narrow it somehow.

Yup Reply Series, Misaeng and Plus Nine Boys

I know this isnt the JDrama thread but ... I finished Death Note - J-Drama based on the manga and it was very good. Lots of lying, deceiving and leveling wars. In this sense it was similar to liar game. I didnt like the main actor cuz i think he looks too old for a student but i guess thats irrelevant.
Oh I just remembered Guillaume "Grrrr..." Patry was in one episode of Seonam Girls High School Detectives. His role was very small - foreigner on airport, but he had a couple lines IIRC mostly in english. He had maybe 30-50secs of screen time.

Finished Liar Game, I think overall I prefer the Japanese version, the games they played were better, even though Kim So Eun is super cute.

reply 1988 is starting in a few days :o

i'm not sure if asking for a recommendation is frowned upon here but i watched boys over flowers a couple of years ago and LOVED it. Have been getting an itch to rewatch it or something similiar, anyone that can recommend anything?
|
Flower Boys was based on the manga. I guess you could say that "The Heirs" was kinda similar in a sense that it was about rich kids in elite high school. I really liked it but lots of people here didnt.

holy crap Cheer Up is so good. It's not a light comedy, which is what I expected, but damn it's good.

On November 16 new drama will start starring So Ji Sub and Shin MinA. Hopefully it will be good one. They had good chemistry in Masters Sun
|
Shin Mina was not in Master's Sun dude.
|
"whos the husband " concept is kinda predictable already anyway.. not sure if im Hyped.. Hyeri :| .. if only Irene knew how to act T.T

Empress Ki airs right now on Polish public national TV (TVP 2) LOL XD First time for me seeing a drama from Korea on our cable, only movies for now and only maybe like 3, nice :D
|
Yea i checked wiki it says that its first korean drama. Its good, gotta enlight the masses with proper entertainment.
|
Finished She Was Pretty. Not bad. Anyone watching Bubblegum?
|
Finished Orange Marmalade and Cunning Single Lady.
OM was pretty good, especially worth watching if youre SeolHyun fan. It had a weird composition - 4 episodes of your standard high school drama, then 4 episodes of sageuk drama, then back to high school drama for final 4 episodes.
CSL with Lee Min Jung was superb. LMJ is such a rare combo of sexy and cute. Im surprised the drama had such low ratings, maybe b/c it was too cliche ? dunno, i find myself often disagreeing with general korean audience. Hello Venus Yoo Young had a minor role in it - she did very well imo. Her character was very likable.

anyone started Reply 1988 already? is it good?
|
Alright can somebody recommend me a korean series with the theme where the protagonists main love interest is his friend/bestfriends sister ? bonus if it's a roommate comedy
if there's none that exist (cause apparently after searching in almost all medium of entertainment that's very rare) then anybody knows any like romcom where the theme is they are roommates doesn't matter how they became rommates whether they are already roommates or they just became one to whatever circumstances.
More focus on the romance and comedy aspect less on drama as much as possible.
