Yeah, right...

This show's writing is starting to go down the drain.
It's damn annoying watching Walter flip-flop between conflicting personality traits every other episode. Dude might as well be bipolar.
In the first two seasons they could get away with attributing it to stress, since his lapses wouldn't occur more than 2-3 times a season. It's how a normal person might have behaved, and the show was all the more realistic for it. But now... it's like he's logical, calm, deductive Walt in one episode. Then flipped out, paranoid, idiot Walt the next. And this is repeated ad infinitum.
Happens to most shows where the writers have to churn out more content than they've got ideas to cover. Makes for trash plot development. By the 15th time someone acts retardedly out of character you lose hope and stop watching.

Gus being gay came kinda surprising to me, but i guess i can live with it. As for the rest of the episode. I really liked the little reveal that guy, at that particular point, had been (disregarding his mystery-shrouded past) in a similar situation to jesse.
He was the "disposable" guy in the meth-equation, with his friend being the cook, so i guess, in a way, he even can empathize with jesse a little bit (although most of his sentiments regarding jesse wont be affected by that). Found that quite interesting.
As for his past:
I guess we pretty much can agree that Gus must've had been kind of a big shot in pinochets dictatorship. Thats why he lived that day, and thats probably why there are not much information regarding his time in chile. I feel like I was asleep during the last episode or something. What makes you think Gus is gay? And even if you have a good argument why do you state it as if it was a fact?
Would an official podcast confirmation be a reasonable argument that he's gay?
When even the people that make the show tell you that Gus it's gay it's generally a good moment to admit you might be wrong.

Kinda like players who seem nice in interviews and than flipping out and behaving like an idiot because of a small incident in a starcraft game. Am I right, lalush?

The whole flashback scene was pretty awesome. It was a total eye for an eye moment. Like at the end when he asked hector to look him in the eye. More people seem to be interested in gus' sexuality though. Gus is really vindictive.

This show makes me jizz. every week.

Wrong? How can I be wrong? I never said anything about Gus' sexual preferences. I just asked how on earth people thought he might be gay. Turns out there was a podcast - thanks for info.
(still interested which scene should indicate that he is gay btw)

The flashback scene. Go listen to the podcast to kill all doubts.

They don't have to show it for it to be true.

Intense episode. I think Walt's paranoia and mistrust in Jesse (and overall misjudgement in jesse's worth due to his huge ego and selfishness) just sunk his stock.
|
Another good episode, the end scene has some good bits, and a savage fight.
+ Show Spoiler +Walter tracks Jesse to Gus' house with the same tracker that Hank used. Jesse doesn't poison him; So the cartel gets Jesse and Walter's formula to prevent a war.
|
+ Show Spoiler +Guy gets shot in the head after a 5 minute scene of Jesse scrubbing a floor. I love the way this show does murder scenes. A calm before the storm so that when it happens it is more jarring.
Looks like Skylar is going to have to use some drug money to pay off Benake's debts. Just the cost of doing business.

Oh my god, that whole last act. I wish this show could have a happy ending

Skylar subplots make me sad.
Otherwise good ep ^^.

pretty legit episode
+ Show Spoiler +seems like jesse is gonna end up being some badass in mexico with mike? (gus's number one dude who kills other dudes)
walt really pissed jesse off HAM

I have to say, walt was a complete asshole in this episode.

You have to understand it from Walt's perspective as well.
+ Show Spoiler +He was right that "Jesse signed his death warrant" because Walt would have a cushy $15 million a year and a great relationship with Gus if it wasn't for Jesse being a rash idiot and going after those two dealers. I mean, come on, Walt gave up 7.5 million and his own safety, killing two people in the process, all for Jesse. I admit that Walt did go way overboard with his anger, but I can't blame him for raging at Jesse.

ugh skyler subplots ruin this show sometimes. -_- other than that it was a good episode.
