+ Show Spoiler + https://m.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/4i7bno/frikidoctor_is_uploading_episode_3_spoilers/ Basically we get ToJ battle. Bran calls out to Ned who hears him but cant see him. He hears Lyanna and the vision ends. Umber comes to ramsey because Jon is giving his lands to the wildlings. The gift is Rickon. Yarwyk, Marsh, Thorne, and Olly are hung. Jon gives his LC cloak to Ed. Ed asked what to do with this and Jon says whatever he wants because his (jon's) watch has ended. In Braavos Arya says no one a bunch and gets her eyes back. In KL the small council decide what to do about HS. Cersei shows up and the discussion goes nowhere. We see a littls bird in the service of Qyburn. Sam is about to puke on a boat. They decide to meet Randyll since Gilly cant go to Oldtown. Dany reaches VD. Overall a lot and yet not much happens. Jon's closing line that his watch has ended is the most badass moment by far. Looking forward to "Dark" Jon? Overall potentially solid episode. No sand snakes but we get Sam.

Qyburn scene with the little birds was weird, makes me assume that they're really working for Varys, considering the real birds Varys has are all mutes. Also the fact that they just met Qyburn in his office; Varys would obviously find somewhere hidden when meeting them. So Qyburn will get fucked by the little birds I guess Tommen is dumb enough to forget about the shaming and imprisoning his mother thing after one talk with High Sparrow Sanders. In one or two episodes Tyrell forces will arrive and they're gonna fuck things up, though I assume they'll delay Cersei's trial until late in the season. Scene with Dany didn't accomplish much, and probably they could have sped up the narrative by just having the dragon save her right then and there. Arya was good, wrapping up the blind part of her storyarc. Maybe they could have shown her actually taking on different roles though. I guess she'll do assassination missions for a while now, until she gets a good opportunity to go back home and finish her list. Yay! First scene with Jon was just OK. Second one was a classic in the "grim but necessary executions" compilation that GoT has been working on for a while. The grotesque shots of dead Olly (good riddance fucker) and dead Alliser (rip) were a nice touch that showed immediately to the audience why Jon was quitting. It's nice that they can occasionally make deaths feel violent and disgusting in and of themselves, in a series which has so much casual death.

But damn that last scene was beautiful. Also nice to see tormund make a dick joke. GRRM would be proud.

Rickon - I suppose they don't have enough time to do it properly (just like they 'had' to gift Sansa to Ramsay) but it still feels unbelievable that right after Ramsay kills Roose a new character pops up out of nowhere and brings Rickon Stark in chains. Jon - I don't like how he quit the Watch right after hanging those guys. I think he should stay in Castle Black for one episode, talk to Davos about life and shit and then decide that his watch is ended. The way it was done in the show can suggest he executed those guys solely because he wanted revenge, which doesn't feel like something Jon Snow would do. I don't mind dual wielding Dayne at all and I don't care about the details in that scene. I think it's a problem only if you want it to be a problem. I bet the female screaming in the Tower of Joy was Lyanna giving birth to Jon (not that it's a bold prediction at this point).

Rickon is gonna be the ploy for the pink letter now. They were discussing Jon as being a problem already, so the battle is being foreshadowed. "I've got your brother, Bastard", etc., typical hostage stuff. Wondering if Rickon will die in the process. Probably not, i dunno, seems unnecessary.

Never understood why this would upset you... I read the books (couple years ago now)and I like Dany a lot. She makes mistakes, but that's expected from a young, inexperienced leader.

It's fine to disagree, and I respect differing opinions, but it confuses me how well Dany is recieved. Admittedly season 1 Dany and her transformation from meek to strong was very cool to see. But overall Dany seems to be lifted by all the resources at her disposal more than she herself is. (Dragons, Barristan, Daario and the Sons etc)
