I didn't like Arya learning to fight being actually blind, is she some sort of Jedi now? all the rest wasn't bad, just really boring

Why do they always go over the top with their fighting choreography in bigger fights? First Oberyn has to spin like an idiot and now Arthur fights anime style as well. Why can't we just get a solid, grounded fight? That they cut the scene and use the rest in a different episode isn't too surprising. Overall a decent episode i think, still not feeling the season as a whole though. Now with Bran's flashback plot device i want to see Rhaegar though, pls HBO -.-

Fitting that all Khalasars are coming for a meet up, just in time for Drogon to turn them all into Dany's service. Now he has the best foot and the best light cav in the world.

Do we find the Tower of Joy scene in a single chapter in the books or did we piece this together? I honestly don't remember it as vividly as you guys seem to.

It's a single chapter of the first book yes. I don't remember which one exactly but it's after Ned gets smacked by Jaime and is lying in bed day-dreaming.

Here it´s more about Bran learning about the past and the lies he has been told about it - it´s very telling that he is suprised that his father was loosing. Yes It makes sense, the winners always write the history and they are always the good ones.

At this point I don't get why they include stuff like Tyrion trying to have conversation to almost mute people, or danaerys talking with ex-khaleesis...they could easily cut that and actually progress the story.
