Although from the looks of things, Ging is somewhat a "copy ninja" type. But that's cool because we haven't seen someone of that caliber yet. I wonder now how Hisoka would "rank" him and if Ging could actually copy the technique of Hisoka and even Illumi? I would guess the previous chapter showing his nen control prowess was an introduction how good he was in his nen control. That was also good storytelling. I do wish we could have seen Pariston at least do something. =)

Ging seems more of the 'come straight at you' type rather than the type to pile up bluffs and red herrings, though.

I didn't mean that he was mainly a copy type in terms of his ability but it was nice to see that he could do it somewhat proficiently. And regarding his ability, I am doubtful he is a specialization type. As stated before with regards how "compatible" a certain type is with mastering another type, my guess is he could theoretically copy techniques if he learned it and it's output is reduced by the compatiblity percentage but reinforced by his proficiency in nen use and most likely his total nen capacity in battle. Just a maybe. Illumi's is a bit difficult to do, I would agree. But Hisoka's gum ability I think is possible for him to even if he was a reinforcement type. As it is simply manipulating his nen to act like a gum. I don't know how "fine" he could make the gum etc etc. But it appears since studies a persons characteristics, it allows him to find out how and why that type of "special ability/nen" is what they came up with. Which is why he "deduces" why Leorio ended up with such an ability. I do think it will actually even allow him to find a way of utilizing a certain ability when a user is just starting to further/develop the relatively new nen ability he will display. Strike type nen attacks are easier to copy, but he didn't say it was limited to just that (from the translation I read). Could be a translation issue if he was intended to say he could only do it with strike type abilities. Still curious what Pariston's ability is since he seems to be that much of a threat.

Though, if he's limited to copying just strike techniques, then I guess Chrollo's ability is still better.
