But that wasnt even Ging's ability thats just something he can do haha

Indeed. Ging is so op that his basic skills are better than others nen skills.

i dont think its possible for someone to copy an ability that easily without using an ability
Hmm kind of hoping they get things going soon with either exploration or action.
I don't mind the exposition chapters but it's been going on for a very long time now. So many chapters have been giant text-filled chapters. It makes the world more interesting but it can also make it boring if that's all that happens.
No Gon/Killua also doesn't really help since I've never been a huge fan of Kurapica and Leorio. I'm more eager to see Gon start training or something again than seeing this trip. I love training arcs and it's what HxH does the best IMO since they are so detailed (looking back at Greed Island... if they wanted to learn/master everything they could still be there training lol).
Over all though my favorite part of this manga is watching Gon and Killua's growth and the cool and interesting uses of nen from various characters. I like a lot of the other things they do in this manga, but the politics are definitely not my thing.
Its been game of hunters for a while now but I don't mind switching out gon for ging as the focus I do miss killua though, what is he even doing these days
There's a theory going around that Nanika (Alluka's other self) is actually Ai from the dark continent. This is supported by several things like people being killed in a similar manner and Nanika herself saying "ai" frequently in the Japanese raws which, at the time, was translated liberally because no one knew about the calamity Ai. Plus the fact that the family, including Killua, notes how Nanika is "something from another world." If this is true, then there is definitely room for Killua and especially Alluka to play a role in this arc. Gon could potentially be brought back since he had such a significant experience with her, but probably not as a fighter.

Interesting theory seeing as they are described as gas life forms "the desire of co-dependence" and the way people died is eerily similar.
I guess I still don't understand what's going on with Gon. He says he can't activate his Nen. But Ging says he could activate it fine with they were together (i.e. after he was healed). So can he or can't he? Is it a mental block or a physical block or what? I don't know of the translations are making this less clear or if it's intentionally unclear, but I really have no idea what's going on.
(I guess I mean in terms of the story, for the narrative I understand why he is taking a break from writing Gon into the story, but internal to the story I don't really get it.)
