I'm not underestimating Hisoka, just that Killua and Gon are the most talented people of their generation and have nearly caught up to Hisoka, which is what Hisoka has been waiting for. Kurapika isn't 1/10 million , he's simply a talented NEN user that specializes only against spiders. You forget the fact that Gon and Killua cleared a 3star mission. They wanted to give Morel 3stars for his role in the chimera arc when Gon and Killua played a more vital role than he did. For all power tier purposes Gon and Killua are three star hunters just like Ging(two star). If you take in their 'emergency' I win button abilities , they are already the most powerful beings alive. Gon (future gon. Everyone else can make the same conditions but their perfect selves will be far weaker than perfect Gon) and Killua with Alukka. Now I am glad Togashi is taking time off to figure out how to explain loose ends. He's already dug a huge hole with Killua and Alukka combo that can simply 'wish' a win. He's progressed Gon/Killua so much ahead in terms of power that any future power growth will simply put them at netero level at the age of 15. Focus has to be off Gon/Killua for awhile for that reason. Killua will play dolls with his younger sister, Gon will be doing yoga whilst everyone progresses in the dark world. | ||

Wasn't the ban not by the hunter Association but a concensus/decision by the 6/7 countries? It just so happened that one of their enforcing agencies was the Hunter Association as well that stands by their decisions as enforcers as well? The ban was not also fear of the creatures but the "plagues" they usually bring back with them I recall that the Chimera queen was fleeing the dark continent to give birth and I vaguely recall reading a translation (so may or may not be correct) that the Chimera Ants as creatures are normal in the dark continent and not yet special. Kurapika is unique because of his lineage though and I would say he is actually more unique than Gon or Killua in the sense that he can 100% master both (in a theoretical standpoint) depending on his manipulation of "red eyes mode". I know the percentages are simply an idea to allow for us to understand compatibilities but we have not yet seen another character that switches nature/type of nen like Kurapika. So Kurapika is at least unique in a different sense, not just his wit. Re the clip about Tsubone's statement about Killua not losing to Illumi, I think that has simply to do with capability to not only plan and execute (Since they are assasins by nature), but as we know, just because "power levels" are defined by higher or lower, it isn't not the go to answer in who will win. It's how you use your abilities in battle that will end up helping the battle swing in your favor. Case in point is how bomber lost to gon eventhough Bomber is just way more "OP" than Gon. Killua has also lost the needle "limitation/fear" implanted previously in him which allowed him to at least stand up against instead of simply cower and be manipulated against his will by Illumi which was shown clearly during the hunter exams end and how Killua changed after the needle was removed. So I would say, it just goes further to reinforce that Killua is no longer stunted by his family. But as a character in battle, I would give the advantage to Illumi still if he does spar with Killua. Especially with Illumi's ruthlesnness vs Killua's character to actually bother to care for others even his enemies that Illumi has the favor in battle. That's me though so I don't mind opposing views. Still no new chapter.. T.T | ||

Man what a ride that was. This was one of the better series I have ever watched. The way it made you sympathize with every character, even thought some of them were "villains", were amazing. I still can't believe how much I enjoyed watching Meruem play some invented game. The only real problem was that Gon himself was just so boring. His special move is just plain stupid compared to godlike stuff like electricity auras, he's the same character all series through with no real development, and he's basically an immovable object in all fights til he gets punched enough to fight back properly. In the end I was mostly hoping for more killua and kurapika fights. | ||
