Everytime I see a new chapter of HxH I check the calendar for the month/year and then I have the urge to reread the whole thing because I don't remember anything at that point.

Some people speculate it is his wife (Sailor Moon) who is helping with the art, I am not complaining. Also, that sudden fight out of nowhere. Given the amount of manga artists who die of some illness early, maybe he is pushing himself to get to the parts the readers really want. He's well known for experimenting a lot of drawing technics in his mangas. He even used his left hand for a few pages in Yuyu Hakusho way back in the day.

I was gonna complain about something similar. A good fight should be in it's execution imo, not having something so complicated every step needs to be explained. It's also not just HxH's fights it's the dialogue. Holy crap the last few chapters might as well be text only with the pictures being half covered. Sure HxH has a lot to do to advance the plot, but it should be show not tell.

Very little chance anytime soon. The HxH manga is just starting the arc that the anime would start. Plus even though some manga/animes are very close to each in their story, like One Piece, Togashi would need to be reliable in order for them to do the same.
