And EE tries to make things worse by picking weaver, another carry that requires more farm than required to keep up with its fighting capabilities.
Mirana support was questionable, I agree, but ultimately not the reason they lost the game. Had the drafts been reversed, I'm 100% sure Secret would have lost the game too simply because Newbee executed better. Weaver was not a bad pick because, when played right, he can farm / push without having to fear the bat too much while rest of the team can stick as 4 and be safe from bat ganks as well. Unfortunately neither Envy nor the other 4 executed correctly and allowed free bat picks on important heroes at important points in the game.

Linkens is useless against bat once he has forcestaff. He can break it so easily

Yes, that's why Weaver is so good against him. He doesn't have to stay in lanes ricing forever, he moves around quickly enough to stay out of reach etc. Just because Envy wanted to sit in lanes for literally 60 seconds at a time doesn't mean the hero is necessarily bad...

I don't know, I predicted Secret would fall off in a pretty dramatic fashion but I didn't really have a good grasp on why I felt that way.
Still time will tell, Secret could still rebound and be TI winners for all I know.
It's only a hunch and some very vague offhanded information but certain player(s) in Secret are very good at demotivating their peers.

OG came off a 1½ months break, after being on the road for months with few breaks, including a bootcamp. They were also visibly rusty in their first games. At least as a team. I am sure they have played dota.
