Games will usually be pretty even. There will be the occasional stomp where a game is over in ~20 minutes, but the average game is generally pretty back and forth, and lasts around 35-45 minutes.
As for being able to watch and enjoy it, some things might be a bit confusing if you've never played it before, but just go ahead and watch and I'm sure you'll find it entertaining. And of course if you have any questions you can always consult anyone here in the thread, or the new TL Dota 2 wiki for answers.

But that's only tickets for presale, not all the seats was available for presale... There's also seats for walk in and PAX attendees.
