There won't be any? Ties for 3rd/4th seed are decided by the other group's winner choosing who they want to face. coL secured 2nd seed by 2-0ing Darer. So LGD gets to choose whether they want to play Na'Vi or Orange (and DK plays the other). If I were LGD I'd pick Orange. They've got more experience against them and they should feel pretty confident against an opponent they know is weaker than them whilie Na`vi plays a different style and has big ups and downs. They've been playing better as the week goes on as well. Yeah, I think Orange is easier than Na'Vi. Although Na'Vi played horrid the first day, they've gotten their momentum back and is looking to outperform themselves in the UBs. Asian teams beware - Na'Vi is back. Don't know about that. Orange is quite ahead of Navi when they aren't fountain diving a won game. Think the Navi circlejerk is just too strong Na`vi has held a 75% winrate in dota2 and that wasn't just by coincidence. It was pretty much a whole year of dominance until the last 3 months. They were by far the best western team in dota 1 as well, and probably the strongest non chinese team.

Na'vi almost were getting outplayed by tongfu in the lategame there(where they almost got rax and they got 2 t3 towers)
you can't make those mistakes against teams of iG and LGD's, caliber(or even DK's and Zenith arguably)
It looks decent but it will take a lot more then that to win the International
also you say that but they bootcamped for only a short time while the chinese teams(or atleast iG and LGD) have done so for 3 months or so.

Orange actually kept up well against IG while Navi just got rolled over. And yeah if it was Sylar on that Naga instead of Hao, game would have been different.
If LGD can pick, and they are looking for potentially easier game based on group stage performance against Chinese teams, they will pick Navi probably. They probably dont' care either way though.

I'm confident in LGD's ability to beat either team. The real question is whether DK will beat the other one.

orange vs iG was only 1 sided bc teams were evenly skilled but iG had a way better draft. This caused either orange to push out and get their farm or sit turtle and slowly let Luna takes the lead. Clearly it was iG forced orange out of their own comfort zone which trigger mushi to snap, dived, died -> game over. Game 2 was pretty much the same thing but faster.
Teams need to pull some special strat to force iG out of their comfort zone. Clearly Luna line up they were showing has been a huge success if enemy team doesnt has any significant counter pusher while maintain a DPS line up to burst her down during BKB.

According to holymaster blog, it's LGD's and IG's pick, not cointosses.

Just out of curiosity, which were the teams with the lowest numbers of supporters(pennant users)?

are you really trying to argue for why euro and american teams have lack luster performances? honestly? rofl. you have a 75% win percentage for a whole fucking year....dominance and that momentum brings an unstoppable confidence, there is absolutely NO excuse to why navi is under performing.
first off you have no clue how long chinese teams have been bootcamping. 2nd, if you want to throw that type of bs argument out euro / american teams have had a YEAR preparation of dota 2 far ahead of asians. and we've seen the skill difference that does in a game like sc2. (compare MVP to any kespa player)
you guys just don't want to swallow the cold hard truth, and it's that asians are > all dota teams. oh so easily do people forget who the kings were in d1. the skill difference is clearly showing if a team who's 1 year behind in experience can not only catch up but even outdo the so called best. navi was only keeping the throne warm for the kings to come back and take it.

wow ferrari over 1000 gpm... so good at this game

I also think that the Asian teams are a lot better.I saw an interview with Chuan where they said that they bootcamped with LGD for 3 months, it was on reddit/youtube somewhere.
calm down a second and take a chill pill.

You know something is very off when enchantress buys a blink dagger to killsteal off your carry.

Lets all calm down and enjoy the games.
Personally, I want Navi to do well. we need good representation from all regions for the game to grow. A little sad M5/Darer did not do well, but Darer actually had some pretty close games just not solid throughout. A few mistake and its difficult to come back from at this level as things snowball out of control.
Glad NA is doing well, col really is a pleasant surprise!
SEA doing kinda expected, need to work on being more 'solid' as well. Mushi needs to not get caught out so much, and Zenith needs to make sure they're rarer picks (if utilized) are solid throughout the game (all 20-70 minutes if need be).
End of day, hoping for iG/LGD final as they have truly separated themselves from the rest and don't see any team beating them in a Bo3 or 5. Maybe..... Zenith if on-form. The rest always have a chance but don't bet on it.
PS. Mtw seriously let Ferrari get out of hand that game. Was an amazing TA to watch!!!

Not just that, Chuan even sells his almost finished Mek to do so. ;D
So sad I missed it live, but glad that Valve has such a good system for spectating past games. :D

well they are doing well, they're in the winners bracket. dota has become boring to watch over the years in the western scene due to the fact anyone who played navi lost 1 sidedly for the majority of the year. i'm glad they're losing as they are, it shows they got too comfortable winning t1 and sitting on the 250 thousand dollars each of them received. in a competitive game like dota they should always be innovating and testing their limits. i'm not sure what the majority of the world were thinking, when everyone pretty much said the asian teams weren't going to do anything because they played on western servers with a 100 ping disadvantage just lol....
imo if you want to be the best you have to earn it, and it's not through playing the best teams at a disdvantage and beating American cans for a high gosu gamer ranking. this is how winning 1 million dollars should be, guys of equal ability and on fair grounds pushing each other to their utmost limit. navi got too comfortable, it's time to see their downfall for that arrogant mistake. and here i quote xboct " Everything other teams do is easy to read and understand. " if that's not arrogance and getting comfortable, i don't know what is.

It's embarassing losing to zenith and orange? what fucking planet are you on
