...? And then the whole game fucking changes because they have to defensive trilane and/or babysit the slardar all game instead of roaming with their 2 supports which was a big reason why they got that early game advantage.

They had advantage in lanes from the start no matter what hero they ran, Lifestealer was gonna lose to OD and the tri-lane was gonna beat Dendi.

Except to actually WIN that lane against dendi the supports would have to stay bottom 100% of the early game and meanwhile enigma is farming fast as shit. Slardar will eventually get pushed out by the puck and the fear of enigma + nyx ganks.

Dendi had like 6/6 cs at 10 mins, I seriously doubt he could beat a Slardar 3 levels ahead of him. Not to mention Puppey was already rotating without any ganks from Orange because Lifestealer was getting raped middle.

Did you even watch the game? 6/6 and then he caught up and even tied 29/5 against windrunner because he had to back off because he didn't know where enigma/nyx were. The slardar can't trade harass with the puck either and has to overextend for cs later on. This is what happens to every offlane melee. Eventually they have to back out. Watch the liquid game where bulba was on naix.

you have to say that recently navi has played pretty standard dota influenced by their time in china

sure you get some dendi pudge but thats not that much, compared to other teams like zenith/orange/... they are not varied at all
You must gather your party before venturing forth.

I am happy that TI3 produced so many good, actionpacked and interesting games. A real joy to watch. Even to watch some replays any day. Like a good movie.

Navi never vary their pics?

Na`Vi and Alliance are two most boring teams, you heard it here first... Please, just ignore that guy, obvious troll.

For those complaining about the format, the way to see it is this way.

The whole playoffs were not to pick the winner. It is to pick the top 2 teams who will play in a grand final. It's a 2 separate stage in the tournament.

So there are actually 3 stages in the tournament which is groupstage, playoff, grand finals. Each stage is separate.

Teams who did better in group stage didn't start with a 1-0 advantage in the playoff as well despite winning more games.

Is this serious?

Yeah, they didn't get a 1-0 advantage, they got a 2-0 advantage. They started in the upper bracket and other teams started in the lower bracket, the equivalent in the format of getting 2-0'd.

There was a huge advantage to doing well in the prelims, it's really weird that you try to make it sound like there wasn't.

Yeah, a team with a 9-5 record (lets not count the tiebreaker) was in the exact same part of the bracket against a team with 14-0.

so many blind navi fanboys too, acting like navi are gods and they made a miraculous comeback, when it was clear that orange was on tilt after that aegis deny

Yeah, its called being cool under pressure. Its the sign of a great team.

The salty Orange fans are funny. Orange is a great team and played really well, but couldn't hold it together in the end.

That had nothing to do with it. If they didn't deny the aegis Na'Vi lost, simple as that.

People who are far better at Dota 2 disagree with you. Even with the aegis, they might not have been able to break the base. They have one damage source that was losing steam.

You don't take psychological effect in account.
Nobody is saying that if Aegis was on Orange it was like instant win, but the game wouldn't have ended so abruptly.
Anyone who denies that is a blind NaVi fanboy.

That is a long time to hate on a team. That takes some focus.
"Anyone who disagrees with me is clearly a fanboy so I can dismiss their opinions"

The game would have been about as bad. Orange had one damage dealer and everyone on Na'Vi were getting BKB's and frankly he was losing steam. Na'Vi had an overall better lineup and the gap wasn't that big to begin with.

The aegis was embarrassing but it wouldn't have made a huge difference. Maybe one more half of a teamfight would have been in their favor.

EDIT:

KACI PLS

ignore darkseid, every since this ti started he has been flaming na'vi and calling everyone who defends them a fanboy

"Anyone who disagrees with me is clearly a flamer so I can dismiss their opinions"

If their opinion is dumb, then yeah. I mean, who listens to dumb opinion.

I expected better from you.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel

No one actually fears enigmas ganking.
His stun is pretty meh and his ultimate has longest cd in the game.

You're suppose to bring your Eidolons with you when you gank with Enigma in general. But still Malefice can still help in ganks.

If the tournament is double elim, how come Na'vi doesn't have to beat Alliance twice?
