The whole playoffs were not to pick the winner. It is to pick the top 2 teams who will play in a grand final. It's a 2 separate stage in the tournament.
So there are actually 3 stages in the tournament which is groupstage, playoff, grand finals. Each stage is separate.
Teams who did better in group stage didn't start with a 1-0 advantage in the playoff as well despite winning more games.
Is this serious? Yeah, they didn't get a 1-0 advantage, they got a 2-0 advantage. They started in the upper bracket and other teams started in the lower bracket, the equivalent in the format of getting 2-0'd. There was a huge advantage to doing well in the prelims, it's really weird that you try to make it sound like there wasn't. Yeah, a team with a 9-5 record (lets not count the tiebreaker) was in the exact same part of the bracket against a team with 14-0. That team was seeded worse. If you're ever played in a tournament you might be aware that it's a gigantic disadvantage to play vs #1 seed first instead of vs the #8 seed. How about the 3 teams who finished 8-6 and only 1 had to play against Na`vi, the top seed? Alliance should have been the top seed. 3 worst teams play vs the 3 best teams. You cannot be serious?

loled. Zenith and orange had nice picks but they aren't chinese, maybe we can call them eastern. And they call us fanboys racists!

I think they realize some people might watch the grand final or at least only the last day so these recaps are good to inform them of the whole storyline.
Do the people in TV6 see this also? or they just observe through the game and have their own production

There was a huge advantage to doing well in the prelims, it's really weird that you try to make it sound like there wasn't. That group stage is to pick 8 teams to be put in Upper Bracket and 8 teams to be put in Lower Bracket. This playoff is to put 2 teams in the Grand Finals and 14 teams to be eliminated. Between teams in the lower bracket, there is no score advantage despite some teams winning more than the others ( IG vs DK started 0-0 despite IG being 8-6 and DK 10-4). Therefore in the grand finals there should be no score advantage also. of course there are other non score advantages like being able to pick your opponents or being well rested and are able to save strats and analyze more of your opponents. If the formats were similiar, the second qualifiers should put one half of the teams in the winners' bracket and one half in the losers' bracket for the grand finals.
Which is how it would go in a properly done tournament format. As you see, doing well in the qualifiers gives you an advantage. In a proper format, that is.

Is there a French team in TI3 now?

I can't believe some people are bringing up that there are boring teams, all the teams have bring some great games even if sometimes they shackled themselves a bit during those 80K+$ dollars games. It has been an amazing tournament with lots of great games, better than the usual TPL, SL, TD (which are already good).

Was this not the case, then?
Though you're correct, I don't understand how this tournament works and how this format got through but whatever. It's only unfair if Na'Vi wins, and they won't.
