for example rhasta/veno wards would be ridiculously strong if they did 100% damage to everything, and towers would go down extremely quickly if they didn't have fortified armor i don't like it much since it does make damage/health values a little misleading for new players, but i suppose it does add a bit of variety

Armor type, armor values, spell resistance, magic resistance is a giant clusterfuck to digest. Moving away from the War3 engine will help but its still annoying to figure out damage.

I believe the earlier keys had invites attached with them, now they are cutting down since there is so much circulation as is. Didn't Valve only recently increase their server capacity? There is a healthy, active pool in the Beta.

Everyone says he is a ganker that doesn't do well late game, however my friends and I have played him as a carry with battlefury first (big) item in order to get farmed and destroy even very tanky people in a few hits. Is this simply because any hero who has any sort off carry potential farms a decent amount can destroy pubs (especially with the invisibility to pick of lone stragglers)? Not to mention he snowballs ridiculously hard with his ult. Even with only OK farm early game he can get pretty fat, and help your team to do the same with his ult alone.

He gets destroyed later by real carries like void, phantom assassin etc. and ranged heroes. BH's only passive skill cannot compare lategame to the skills of these, so BH's goal is to end early.

Is this simply because any hero who has any sort off carry potential farms a decent amount can destroy pubs (especially with the invisibility to pick of lone stragglers)? Closer to this. As an agility semi-carry, he will still naturally have good development, but the same could be said of heroes like Razor or Viper. Ultimately though, many of the harder carries in the pool have significantly better natural lategame development. He has to take advantage of his ganking power to push the tempo of the game forward. Personally, I really dislike Battlefury on him. Not only are the faster-paced ganking-oriented builds like Janggo->BKB more suited to his kit, they're also more fun to play IMO than sitting in lane and farming.

Another friend I had got it a week later in the same draw, except he got 2 invites, one of which was passed onto me.
