I have no idea how to counter (fed) Ursa, he seems to be too strong, particularly among newbies. We tried to hold him with slows and stuns, but after we waste all of it our team just dies. I've already experienced 3 games where ursa singlehandly killed our team with the help of his support. Any suggestion?

Any suggestion? Don't feed him. Once he's fat, it's gg. Ursa is scary in the sense that he can blink up and kill almost any hero in 1 second (literally), with PA coming a distant second. The rest require several seconds to inflict enough hits to kill, during which they can be stunned unless they have bkb. Deny ursa farm, make sure he doesn't go roshan, and place wards all over to keep tabs on him. Once he gets blink dagger, he can pick off enemy heroes at will. And he's freaking tanky too.

Any suggestion? Ursa can be countered with a couple of simple items ghostcepter is a pretty common items to buy against ursa. It prevents him from doing what he does best, dealing physical damage, as well as making your nukes more powerful. Blademail: he basically hit himself with his awesome dps. And alot of heroes (with slow or disable through bkb) counter him such as furion, who can just sprout him, and he can't do anything, bane with his ulti.

And blademail is only useful if you have more hp than him. And it is countered by bkb.

If so, what is a good newbie build and what suggestions can you give me? Omni is my personal favorite hero and is very good at most stages of the game except for the early laning phase. most people will tell you that omniknight is a quirky support, because he lacks a stun and his slow is mediocre. Those people dont realize that omniknight is actually a hard carry. At the start of the game with omni always announce "SOLO MID OR FEED" preferably in allchat to let your allies and enemies alike know how badass you are. from there rush a radiance then s&y or heart. dont ever purchase wards, dont ever heal anyone but yourself (unless you can steal a kill), and get stats instead of repel. + Show Spoiler + thats my troll build with omni, dont actually do that. Omni is actually very good for new players in my opinion, but you have to play very carefully in the laning phase until your heal/nuke gets to level 3 or so. once you have your ult you become a mid game teamfighting god, your heal/nuke will be at its most powerful early, and it is INCREDIBLY powerful when used properly. Find fights and heal your allies to turn the tide of battle (if you ever see two melee'ers duking it out, cast your heal on your ally and watch the health difference!). Omni should almost always be buying wards and probably other support items like mek, urn, and pipe (come to think of it pipe is probably redundant unless your up against some crazy nuke lineup). Unless your opponents are terrible you wont be winning games on your own, so just support your team as best you can with your heals, invulnerability ult, free bkb for anyone (dont miscast on creeps), and your aoe slow. its generally ok to leave just one or two points in repel so you can level your aura. Casting repel on your teams initiator can allow you to set up incredibly advantageous teamfights, or cast on a well fed carry give them all the time they need to tear apart the enemy team. Im sure I left a bunch of stuff out but the best way to learn is with experience.o yeah, soul ring and mana boots are good. If someone who knows better then me would like to add something then please do.

I remember one game where i destroyed this BH mid, but it was mostly because he was a weak player. who would you be comfortable laning against as solo omni, and would you ever actually put him mid yango?
